Lilah and Brady's are the perfect couple

Would you consider the audio edition of Animal Magnetism to be better than the print version?

Both forms of this book are great. I have both. I read at home and listen to books at work and on the drive to and from work

Which scene was your favorite?

One of the very first scenes was one of my favorites. It was Lilah who ran into Brady's car and he thought she was trying to leave the scene with a load of animals she was transporting to her kennels, although there is a nice steamy scene later at the lake which was also excellent.

Any additional comments?

Jill Shalvis never disappoints. I truly enjoyed this book one of the series and I am already working on book two and book three.

Sweet Romance But Very Naughty Bits No Plot

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Sure, but I'm not an editor/author so take this with a grain of salt. I was waiting, waiting, waiting for something to happen...there was no mystery, adventure, seduction. The publisher's summary calls it 'exciting' - I didn't hear it.

If you cut the intimate scenes it was a book about animals - a humane society, helicopter pilot and a cast of many characters. Perhaps the author was setting the table for future books in the series.

What do you think your next listen will be?

Right now I'm listening to Mastered by Lorelei James. After that I'm going for a counter terrorism or some other sort of military thriller.

What aspect of Karen White’s performance would you have changed?

She was average, not bad not distinguished. The script required her to make animal sounds - not something that makes an adult book seriously.

makes you feel good and you want to buy the entire series. Not to be missed. I am re listening to the books and l am enjoying them more the second time

Couldn't finish this one

It's not often that I don't finish a book that I've started, but I could not finish this one. Lame story, terrible narration. The narrator sounds like she should be trying to read a 2-year-old to sleep. I had to increase the speed to even get as far as I did. Very disappointed.

Not interesting

The characters are flat (very one dimensional) the story wasn’t interesting either. I won’t be listening to the rest of the series.

What could Jill Shalvis have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

More plot. Discuss his issues as a pilot, have him leave for awhile on a secret mission

Animal Magnetism

The story line was good and the
Narrator was good, but was too much sex and constantly.
I like sec but this was way much. I hope the other in this series has more story lines.

Mind numbing boredom

I had great hopes for a book about people who enjoy & help animals. However the characters, both animal and human, didn't have much personality to me. My mind kept wondering and I didn't care how it ended.
