The bodyguards of Elite Guardians Agency have more than just skill and prowess in common; they're also all women.
When it becomes clear that popular psychiatrist and radio personality Wade Savage has a stalker, his father secretly hires Elite Guardians in order to protect his son. But when Wade's bodyguard is attacked and nearly killed, agency owner Olivia Edwards must step in and fill the gap.
Olivia's skills are about to be tested to the limit as Wade's stalker moves from leaving innocent gifts at his door to threatening those closest to him. Olivia has the feeling that she's next on the list. And to complicate things even further, she realizes that her heart may be in as much danger as her client.

I have read so many books that builds the bad guy up to be so smart and then catching him is so uneventful. this book has a well thought out ending and I was not ready for not only how they were caught but who was involved.
thanks for a great story with a great finish.
I have been listening to audio books for a year and have listened to many great books and this is the first review I have done because the acknowledgement needed to be said.
My first book on cd- I had so much fun listening to this while pushing a stroller, washing dishes or in the car. Wasn't completely sure about the narrator at first, in listening to the sample, but immediately changed my mind; she was great. I love Lynette Eason's books, and this was really enjoyable!
Retired bookkeeper, married, Mom of 2, two granddaughters. Love cozy mysteries.
I'm not a fan of romance novels, but I DO enjoy mysteries and detective/police stories, so I thought I'd give this author a try. I do not enjoy books with vulgar language or sexual situations, and after reading some of the reviews, I thought I might like this. Also, I am a Christian, so the religious aspect is acceptable to me. All of that said, I listened to 4 hours of this book, then gave up. Maybe I watch too many detective stories on TV, or have listened to too many mysteries on audio, but as I listened to this book, I kept thinking the following:
(WARNING, SPOILER HERE:) What woman who is fixated on a man who is not interested in her would attempt to kill him? Just didn't make any sense to me. The performer did a good job, though.
I'm going back to Anne Perry, Charles Todd, Simon Brett and Jacqueline Winspear.
I love everything Lynette Eason writes, and this one is no exception. This book is non-stop suspense, excitement and intrigue, with some romance thrown in. As always, her books keep you on the edge, and you never know when to expect twists and turns. I highly recommend this book and can hardly wait until #2 is released!
Lynette Eason keeps your attention from the beginning of this book until the end. I believe this is my favorite of hers so far. She is a great author and if you have never read any of her books you need to. Suspense, love, and mystery all woven into this story. Thank you Lynette for another great book!
Lovin' Cotton Candy
Narrator did a fantastic job with voices and with the feeling of the story. I love this author and her stories. Couldn't stop listening.
I was enjoying the book... it wasn't too bad. Premise of women being bodyguards and being powerful was intriguing. Unfortunately, it became about God and religion. Really didn't need that and it turned me off
For some, a story that references god, church and praying often might be a plus. However, for me, it's not my scene and takes away from anything thrilleresque or interesting. The story is slow and transparent. I won't be returning to this series.
This was a good listen but not the best thing I have heard good this author. It was a bit predictable and forumlatic for me. I like the author and have loved some of her previous books. I would try another one of her books
