Let me keep my baby brother in school and Mom's hospice care paid for. How do you turn down what seems like free money, when you're desperate? You don't. I didn't.

And then, after a year, there was a knock on my door. A sleek black limousine sat on the curb in front of my house. A driver stood in front of me, and he spoke six words: "It's time to pay your debt."

I loved the book. It was an awesome book and I can't wait to listen to the other two.

And the envelope please.......

This book is HOT, HOT, HOT! If I ever receive mysterious checks in the mail, I'm cashing them too. The characters are a bit unrealistic (but I didn't care), the hero is a bit off (but I didn't care), the story is definitely fiction (but I didn't care), there is a bit to much sex (but I didn't care), I loved this story. This is the kind of story that will NEVER happen to anyone in real life and that's exactly why I loved it. If you like steamy sex, fun loving girlfriends, long suffering but strong heroines and a billionaire hero then this book is for you. I probably would have given it a different title because this is a light bondage book and I think the cover is misleading. Enjoy your check!

I love it I love the storyline I love characters really good reading it kept my interest

Restrained, sanitary

Very sterile. The story initially showed promise, then became very dull. The sex scenes; they used the right words, but not one hint of passion or any other emotion. I wonder if this fell victim to some poor direction? Maybe the actors were restrained?

I liked it!

I liked the premise of the story, book are supposed to be about things that most likely never happen and that’s the beauty of writing. I don’t think anyone thought Snow White really had an evil step mother who could morphed into a witch and have 7 dwarfs save her. I highly doubt Beauty and the Breast is a real scenario either. When someone reads a book they want to get lost in the story, in the characters, let their imagination run free. If people are going to nit pik about little thing not making it seem real enough then I would suggest moving to non-fiction.

I loved the characters, I loved Kyrie being true to herself and not pretending to be prim and proper. I liked that she continued to curse even though Eliza said Roth didn’t like it. The storyline was inventive and romantic. I was able to imagine what the apartment looked like, her clothes. I would have liked to have known a bit more about Roth, bits and pieces before the end. We knew Kyrie since it was from her POV.

I thought some of the same words were used too often like recede, great word but used to much too close together. The sex scenes were easy to imagine but I thought maybe it was a bit too much sex. I think maybe there should have been more intimate talks or just some kissing like in the dining room her first day there. I myself am not bothered by crude/smut sex scenes but I would stick with one word for each body part. Either P or C for her, no tits or boobs, I think breasts would have worked well.

The last few chapters were a bit heart wrenching but the end was wonderful. I personally would have preferred an embrace, holding, kissing the top of her head, I thought the need for sex was unnecessary. The confessions from each of them in the car were more ‘run into my arms’ not lift your skirt. The relationship must be about more than that.

Otherwise it kept me listening and I thought it was a great story. Looking forward to Beta.

I enjoyed the story line, however it was too much erotica for my taste. I'm sure those who have read 50 Shades of Grey would enjoy this.

very enjoyable

I loved the book, nice erotic, wild plot and fun. I didn't buy a book named Alpha expecting much but it was a 2 for 1 sale and now I am going to get her other books. I was fun, it had great sex scenes, I liked the main characters. So overall a very enjoyable arousing fun book.

So hot!

This is a great story if you want a little bit of plot and a whole lot of sexy. Storyline moves it along just enough. Main characters engage in some pretty unbelievable situations but it makes for hot entertainment.

If you don't mind a submissive story.

the heroin walks into a situation that she know is off but feel that she won't be killed so she goes with the flow. I rated this story lower because I like a little bit more of a challenge in the heroin. The heroin in the store in the story does ask questions is an intelligent human being but goes with the flow through the. I hadn't figured out within the first chapter what the climax would be because it is so typical.
