Publisher's summary

Secret Leto is going stir-crazy in the small town she grew up in.

Full of Betas, Silver Lake is the safest place for an Omega in hiding, but she can't stand to spend another second trapped there.

Passing for a Beta at Goldcrest College is so much harder than she expects. The big city is full of Alphas, and she’s starting to attract some attention that could ruin her shot at freedom.

Meeting a rare male Omega and his Alphas, her perfume is triggered, and there’s no going back. She can run from herself, but she can’t hide from her true mates.

Secret Omega is a standalone sweet omegaverse romance with college-aged characters, serious steam, and an HEA.

cool story not enough heat

I like omegaverse stories but I felt the connections where not established properly and there wasnt enough heat to cement them. It was wierd.

Promising

The premise is interesting. An omega omega bond with alphas. The academy was also intriguing but it felt like there was a lot going on that was left hanging. In the beginning of the book- their instincts were exemplified but it seems to have fizzled like the book.
So many loose threads -what happened to secrets family? How does Ryan fit in? It is as if the author was afraid of describing intimacy and left most interactions as they hooked up. I wish the characters were more developed and worth remembering .

a different take on omega versus.

I was skeptical when I brought this. A friend of mine recommended. i was reading the reviews and saw a few negative one. But i decided to get it anyway and im really glad i did. There was enough heat and drama in this. But others it seems didn't think so. Anyway highly recommend. also there is a lot of male on male too🌶

it's alright

I'm not a fan of the whole 2 Omega thing, especially since they kind of blow off the 2 alphas. I'm not even sure they even gave descriptions of them. it's not very descriptive at all really. the story was pretty good, interesting and her romance with Dylan was pretty cute but it seemed, not rushed but, I don't know, maybe unfinished. then Ryan comes in out of nowhere and that's totally rushed and weird. I didn't like that at all. I was just overall disappointed with the lack of romance and attachment between Secret and everyone besides Dylan. I really wish there were more interaction between her and the rest of the pack, meeting, phone calls, letters, texts even, anything. they just are suddenly in love because she falls for Dylan in like 3 days. it was promising when she was kind of being stalked in the beginning by Seth when he's trying to figure her out, it was romantics and he seems almost sweet but then he just turned all grunty and quiet and didn't say anything. I'm just ranting now. I just really wanted to like this book but it just seemed unfinished with a rushed ending to get it over with.

Lack of details

I really enjoyed the start of the book but about half way into it, it got hard to listen to. ESP when they left for the academy… that just about bored me to death, there was a big lack in details among the storyline. Overall if you have the credit, it’s not a bad listen but it’s a “slow burn” type of book.

Ok story

The book was okay. I didn’t feel any connection to the characters and about 1/2 way through I was waiting for it to be over. The spicy scenes were lacking and the character development was “meh”.

disappointing

There wasn't enough character development for me to get emotionally involved at all. There were some very life altering revolations that were stated....but that's it. There were no emotions connected to these huge revolations. it was weird. Going more in depth on them would have added to the character development. so it was like the author set you up.....then nothing. Set you up......nothing again. For example (not in this story, just how it felt to me). "You mean your mom murdered your father!?! How terrible....do you want pizza for supper?"

Okay

Okay but I would suggest save your credit it’s super long and mostly dull. The heat is not that spicy so just very long and drawn out very predictable.

Did not live up to expectations

Story premise was promising. Heroine leaves a lot to be desired and is too wishy, washy for me (she also complains a lot). I'm only halfway through, and I've struggled to make it this far. The overall story is boring, and the female nariators voices make it hard to stay focused on the story itself. Save yourselves a credit and pass on this one, you will be disappointed...
