Oh my

What made the experience of listening to Alpha the most enjoyable?

This book was not your average lusty mom book. It's pretty predictable but I liked how much teasing there was, the sexual tension was beyond thick

What about Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne ’s performance did you like?

I loved Roberts accents, but Donne's entire performance was off-putting because the entire book was set up by Roberts and I wish she would've finished it off

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

"Sex with a stranger"

I suggest headsets if you don't have time to listen in an empty room

I really loved how well versed this is. There were a few to many love scenes for my liking but overall it was all very enjoyable.

Wow

This book was amazing. It kept my attention to the point I didn't want to stop listening to it. I would suggest others to read it if they are wanting some excitement.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

Only if they were looking for a book light on the plot and heavy on the sex.

What was most disappointing about Jasinda Wilder’s story?

The sad excuse for a plot. I figured out the "mystery" almost right away, and it's not difficult, but the story only existed before Kyrie was collected and after the reveal. The middle was just sexy times and teasing.

What did you like about the performance? What did you dislike?

I thought Summer Roberts did a pretty good job, though I will say her dirty talk didn't work for me and was distracting. I suppose that it could be dirty talk only works for the participants and not the audience. She did a good job with Kyrie and Roth otherwise. Tyler Donne's narration didn't work for me at all (hence only 3 stars). He was a major distraction and I almost turned the book off when he came on. He doesn't fit the voice of Roth and his dirty talk sounded awkward and forced.

Any additional comments?

Alpha is another take on the billionaire dominant story made popular by Fifty Shades. The twist on this one is that it forgoes most of the plot for a steamy escapade. There's some good sexy content, and it's hot, but I look for more plot to go along with my sex. We get a short set-up, a lot of sexy times, a reveal, aftermath, and an ending.

hot an enjoyed the read

i really emjoyed this book however im debating on readong the 2nd book due to the reviews normally i make my own decisions but i like happy ending for the most part and by reading the summary. for 2 and 3 im sceptical. not sure if i leave it loving this ending or ho on and possibly get upset with the other 2 but for this book good job i love to read another like it

book had some sexy scenes but just remember it's a fantasy because the story isn't based in reality

A fair story

Sex scenes were good... well, more captivating than many in the genre. Not much else to say.

Why did you change the narrator

The book was okay, I got through it because of the female narrator who I thought did s great job on both characters. Why change the narrator on the last chapter? Made no sense.

Loved the story line

Loved where the story was going but got a little bored with over kill of sex talk.

Nice story, sex gets to be a bit much

I like this story and the narration for the majority of the book is great. I like sex scenes in books, but these just went on a bit much. Could have used more story. My least favorite part of it is that the last part of the audio book is narrated by a completely different person, that you have never heard throughout at all. I realize that the last chapter/ part does change to a different point of view. It would have just been better if they had then narrated from that person's 'voice' that had been used previously to changing all together. I feel this ruined the ending for me. Kind of disappointed.
