EXCITING AND SEXY

This was a fast-paced, sexy read. If you like alpha men similar to Gideon Cross and Christian Gray then you'll like this book. It's not a Dom/Sub book but there is some bondage and a definite dominant feel about the male hero. The only negative thing I would say about the book is that the plot does revolve around sex and there really isn't a world outside the two main characters and their desire. Of course, the book doesn't lead you to believe there was ever any intention of a bigger plot so the reader isn't really all that disappointed. Also, there were times when I felt Valentine crossed into "creepy" territory. I don't think this was the author's intention. I think perhaps it was the word choice and perhaps the way the narrator interpreted how the words were said or actions were taken.

Overall, it was a good book. I don't regret the credit. Narration could have been a bit better at times, but overall good.

Fifty Shades on Steroids

The narrator does a great job. I feel a bit like I was a peeping tom with some of the scenes and how well she puts emotion into the words on the pages. Steamy... need a cigarette, a shot of whiskey, and a cold wash cloth afterwards.

This novel was comical and intense. The main character is naive and desperate in a way that she allows herself to become "owned" by a wealthy, ultra sexy alpha businessman. Who has a interesting, mysterious past that keeps him a private person with a small circle of people he allows in that manage his life in business and personal affairs. The plot thickens almost at the very end. The big secret is foreshadowed from the very beginning and kind of predictable, but I won't spoil it for you. There is betrayal, heartache, and love in this story.

Just beware there is a lot of sexual scenes, adult language, and some violence. There is a small cliffhanger, but nothing that forces you to continue the series, but just to see what happens in this complicated couples lives I'm listening to book 2 now.

Was ok

I was expecting more, I think the story is lacking and could have had more substance. It wasn't all that but bcaz I already started it, now I have to listen to all the series

Look, let's be frank. You're not downloading this in the hunt for the next great literary romance or 50 shades of grey high. You've decided you want to go about your day and listen to a dirty smut-filled romance that makes you a bit breathy at parts. This is good fluff.

Aside from the last *extra chapter* which is the only part narrated by Tyler Donne I absofrickinglutely would recommend this book to anyone. It's not BDSM, though you could classify the main guy as Primal, and it does take about 1.5 ~ 2 hours before you get your first full scene, but the buildup to it is FANTASTIC.

I've purchased the second book without hesitation...until I heard the extra chapter...and honestly if he voices the main character is anything but an *extra excerpt* I'm out. Maybe he would be fine in other books, but it's jarring to go from Summer Roberts voicing all characters... to him.

This story was topnotch from beginning to end. Couldn't stop reading. Did end a little abruptly, but no big problem.

Sexually arousing novel

If you like romance, drama and sexual encounters this is the perfect book! It's super detail n I mean detail I really loved it but I didn't like that at the end they change the voices frm a female to male n the ending sucks where the continuation

This story was well written and kept my attention all the way through. I'm not sure why there were negative comments (I know everyone has their right to their opinion). Great story line from beginning to the end! I will listen again:)

Ow Ow!

Loved the story! not super suspense craziness! One I will listen to again! Can't wait to hear more of this author. The reader had hard S's at first but I got past it & it was well worth it.

I love the book how ever from the title it seems to be a werewolf book it is not, at least the first book isn't.
