Way to similar to 50 Shades of Grey

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

Seems like there was a clock on writing time. When time ran out, narrator said "The End". Felt like it was sudden

What didn’t you like about Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne ’s performance?

Summer Roberts was excellent in her female character. Tyler Donne has an amazing voice but his was only used for the male character in last chapter, probably for symbolism. This seems not as valuable as the effect of using Tyler's voice throughout would have been

Love This Book!

Where does Alpha rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This is probably my favorite and I have close to 50. I've listened to it several times.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alpha?
I love the opera scene. I probably don't need to say more.

Which character – as performed by Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne – was your favorite?
Hard to pick a favorite. Love them both.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I like the entire story. It's an interesting premise with smoken' hot sex scenes.

Any additional comments?
This is an awesome audio book. The whole series is great and even into A1 Security.

Little too long

God damned hot! Good story, great performances, but it could have been just as good 2 hours shorter. A little too much repetition throughout.

I — I have mixed emotions.

I listened to the whole thing, as I always do even if I am not particularly obsessed.

I do see the other reviewers point that Kyrie is dumb. I don’t disagree. Also the “own you” commentary made me cringe every time. She literally fell in love off sex, that’s it because he only told her 2 or 3 real facts about himself. The only reason she’d be interested is because of sex and money. Everything else about this man is a huge red flag.

I also knew the big secret well before he revealed it. It was pretty predictable.

I wouldn’t recommend it, but it was ok. Not the best, not the worst. Its frustrating a bit and kind of like Kyrie are you dumb? My favorite character was her best friend.

I COULDN’T DO IT!

I have never really had trouble listening to an audio book before and I just COULD NOT get into it. It was boring to me, dragged on, and was just full of the same exact stuff just re written differently page by page. It lacked substance and I thought the female was really monotone. It truly felt like I was listening to a page by page narration instead of feeling like I’m hearing a the characters actually personality. I could go on. I returned it!

I'm now in love with me some Jasinda.

Kyrie and Roths relationship will have you chewing at your nails, till they bleed. You will leave this book well satisfied and drained, in a good way.

Not just hanky panky

Great narrator!!! Kept me hooked until the end. Great read after 50. Not your usual story.

PURE GOLD!

It was a great book, I just couldn't stop listening. The book was well written and held my attention. The narrator did an excellent job! Get this book, you won't be disappointed

HOT HOT HOT!

Fifty Shades of Grey has nothing on this listen. I thought it was more sensual and smoking hot without all the S&M etc.

If you could sum up Alpha in three words, what would they be?

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, the plot was light, but it was there. Wilder's sex scenes sizzle. Roth was delicious!! I am crossing my fingers for a second installment that would include Harris!!

What was one of the most memorable moments of Alpha?

Most memorable part was a sex scene toward the end, when Roth gives over control.

What does Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Narrator's were great! Summer was awesome with her interpretation of the sex scenes and the noises. Highly enjoyable and erotic.
