And then, after a year, there was a knock on my door. A sleek black limousine sat on the curb in front of my house. A driver stood in front of me, and he spoke six words: "It's time to pay your debt."

I really liked it!

Ok... So Alpha was crazy.. Don't know why it's called Alpha...because the (H) really doesn't turn out to be all that Alpha(y)....When I think Alpha I think dominate...

I mean he was dominate, but to a degree... so Kyrie... the (h), was a struggling college student taking care of her brother and mother... just like the blurp says, she gets checks in the mail, for end up spending the money to take care of her family...but by doing so she is now the property of this mysterious caregiver...

It's a little weird in the beginning as he won't let Kyrie see him, but then all the great smexy time starts... so... yeah is was worth the listen.. But Jasinda Wilder book I have read/listen to so far this year....

Nice Narration...it wasn't really dual narration I don't think... the male narration don't really come in, until the end...so I could tolerate it... It was pretty good..

Good credit or sale, I wouldn't buy... book is over 10 bucks!

Get this book already!

It is my favorite book so far this year. I would have to say with this author and this narrator, it makes the perfect book. Enough said, just get it already. I'm getting the next book now.

The story line itself is interesting and the narrator was OK but If you don't like listening to near constant crude or foul language, avoid this book. I am not a prude by any stretch of the imagination and I can handle some crude or foul language but this book went above and beyond in my mind.

Narrators are really good.

Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?

Story was a little over the top but the overall was good. the female narrator was really great! and the Sex was outstanding.

A bit creepy

What did you like best about Alpha? What did you like least?

I liked that it was well paced and interesting. I didn't like that all through the author stressed that our heroine was freely consenting to be his partner but in reality that wasn't true. He said if she walked away she would owe him $120,000 which she didn't have. It kind of smacked of slavery as he'd bought her for that amount. It creeped me out.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would remove this monetary motivation or worked out a way for her to pay it back or him write it off. He came across as weird and a bit sick and sleazy.

What does Summer Roberts and Tyler Donne bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Summer did a great job of narrating. I thought the few minutes that Tyler narrated could easily have been cut. If I were Summer I would be annoyed that he got equal billing when she did so much of the work.

Could you see Alpha being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

No.

Not one I'd recommend. Too many overtones of violence against women.

Great book

it was a good book that keep on on the edge. that you need more and more

Not your typical S&M

This is about a man who seriously needs to control someone. Pretty sexy. Some strange times in terms of the sex. This woman's life is a nightmare. It's hard to understand her need to fight the pull, and any idea that she'd want to get back to her 'crap' life is just weird.

There is definitely a mystery here, and that makes it interesting. However, the narrator is too slow... I'm like waiting for her to get to the point.

i really enjoyed this...you could "feel" the characters & how they felt...i wondered how a women could be so "brave" but i see how she was unable to resist him too...didn't see the twist at the end either

HOT! HOT! HOT!

The foreplay is as hot as the sex in this book. The characters relationship developed to fast. the book wasn't long enough. I didn't want it to end.there was no epilogue with the relationship happy stuff. And the male leads voice needed to be in the whole book not just near the end. Enjoy!

Not much cup of tea

the book had what I tough was a great story line. I like the characters but disappointed it did not go more in to he root of the story. the book is more erotic and is practically all about sex.
