Too much

Performance was well done, but the story just had too many intimate encounters for me.

Inconsistent

The language in the book didn't fit with the pictures painted of the characters. I also thought it was stupid to have the male reader for just the last chapter.

No this was a first for me and they did an excellent job

omg what an amazing audio version of this book.

the reading of this book is so HOT. I found myself at work turned on more than once that has never happened before and I have listened to a lot of audio books . wow is the word.

It was a good Story

overall the story was okay; it was hot and steamy. I didn't like the over use of the words God and Jesus.

Loved it!

Excellent listen.. I did not want to stop listening until I finished it. Narrators were great.

Two People Who Like to Get It On

What did you like best about Alpha? What did you like least?

The main character often states she doesn't "have a choice" in many situations when she really does, and this is then used as justification to do whatever ends up happening. It's quite infuriating to listen to and makes her seem wispy and anemic. I never really understood the motivations or characterization of the two main characters, so their relationship and investment in said relationship was difficult to interpret and accept. This is a tale of two codependent people who drop everything for a relationship and have tons of unrealistic sex with each other. The reveal of Roth's secret at the end was mundane and and too foreseeable, and the ending itself was tragically cliche without any backbone to it.

What was most disappointing about Jasinda Wilder’s story?

There wasn't one. This book focuses on two people who meet and have possessive, kinky sex. A lot. That's the whole book. Seriously.

Slow start...

In the end, it turned out to be a pretty good book, but the beginning was so slow and boring that I fell asleep twice. Now, I understand why an author should do away with backstory.
