Publisher's summary

It's Christmastime in Boston, and this year the silver bells will be wedding bells as FBI agent Jules Cassidy ties the knot with the man of his dreams, Hollywood heartthrob Robin Chadwick.

The pair plan a quiet, intimate ceremony, to be witnessed by family and close friends from the FBI, SEAL Team 16, and Troubleshooters, Incorporated, including Sam Starrett and Alyssa Locke. But the holiday season brings more to the happy couple than they expect.

A waterfall coming through their kitchen ceiling, a bat colony in the attic, old family tensions...even an international incident can't dampen their spirits. But add to that a parade of unexpected guests, including a reporter looking for a scoop, an ex-lover hell-bent on causing trouble, and a dangerous stalker, and suddenly the wedding is poised to unravel in chaos.

But nothing will stop Jules and Robin from getting their happy ending, because along with a guest list featuring the most elite counterterrorism force in the world, they have their own secret weapon - true love.

Love this whole series!!!

The beginning of the audiobook (before the story began) the audio was quite a bit fuzzy to listen to. but once the book began and the narrator took over it was clear audio. I love these books! I absolutely love the romance of them without the being too detailed on the sexual stuff. Sometimes that's all fine and good but i really like having the story more than just explicit details. As for Jules and Robin, i have always love Jules Cassidy! He is one i would love to have as a best friend and just hand out with. As for Robin, i didn't like him when he was first introduced, but as his character was developed i fell in love with him and all his flaws.

Love is Love

Robin Chadwick movie star is about to marry the man of his dreams FBI special agent Jules Cassidy. The love and respect these two amazing men share resonates from both the audible and wtitten version. A wondeful performance from the narrator which added to the story. Suzanne Brockmann writes a tender, heartfelt and rollicking romance and I long foward someday for more on Jules and Robin's married life.

Love is love

This is a refreshing tale with multiple sub stories as well as the main story of Jules and Robin’s marriage. It is cohesive and delightful and as relevant today as in 2007. For all the haters, I wish you may learn love.

The connection of the characters old and new is so strong and loving.

Having Robin stick in the bathroom with no one to get him out for his wedding to Jules.

I Love the Series-BUT This was 8+ Hours of Whining

Would you try another book from Suzanne Brockmann and/or Michael Holland?

Yes, however I cannot recommend this book.

What do you think your next listen will be?

I'll probably take a break from the Troubleshooter series but I will finish eventually.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Michael Holland?

Sure, he was fine.

If you could play editor, what scene or scenes would you have cut from All Through the Night?

I'd cut the whole book from the series. There was 20 minutes of 'action' (seriously) and the rest of the book was about the prelude to Jules & Robin's wedding. I've never heard such whining and insecurity in a couple - real or imaginary...with hero Sam [from previous books] acting as therapist.

This was 8 hours of [I assume] Brockmann's views on gay marriage, and political views on war, torture, etc.

Any additional comments?

I LOVE The Troubleshooters series and would recommend any of the previous books for action, adventure and romance.

NOTE: Strong language

Underwhelmed

I wanted to like this book. I am not familiar with the TROUBLESHOOTER series, but I found the story very choppy. There was a lot of time spent developing characters, which is great, but then it seemed like all the momentum building to the climax lost steam, and it just kind of ended. There were some charming scenes, and some very good, honest situations. But in general, I had trouble finishing this one out. I do applaud the author for treating a delicate subject with great care and thought. I was also impressed with the prologue that made the story personal. But I am sorry to say, I would have trouble recommending this title to all but a few of my friends. The performance was mediocre, with the best characterization being Sam. I found the digitized telephone conversations unnecessary. And I realize this will makes me seem petty, but thank goodness not all gay men are as annoying as Robin. I couldn't wait for his scenes to be over.

Utterly disappointing!

Do not waste your time on this book, seemingly written by someone with the skills and hormonally driven mindset of a fourteen year old. Poorly written (with valley girl type lingo instead of good, varied English), obsessed with sex (one of the reasons it sounded like a young teen) and not at all researched---the author did not even bother to find out what the FBI, as opposed to the CIA or foreign service, has as duties. Until I heard the author's note at the end, I honestly thought it was written by someone at most 20. When she said it was a part of a successful series, I had a hard time believing my ears!
If you value a) the English language, b) a plausible plot, c) believable characters who are more than one dimensional, and d) even decent, not to say good, writing, skip this one.

Decent read, disappointing listen

I've read this book before and it was fun if a little cheesy because come on. We get it. They're in love, awesome - lets have some plot. However, the narrator was terrible. Absolutely TERRIBLE. He doesnt know how to read aloud. There's no inflection, no very little emotion, and he reads the dialogue so flatly that I had to wonder if he had a pulse. Pick up this book in paperback or as an ebook and enjoy the story. Dont do like I did and waste a credit or some money on something so disappointing.
