What I'm Reading
YES! Pretty much all the Animal Magnetism books are amazing. Plus, Parker and Zoe are ooey gooey goodness. Plus, Karen White does a fantastic job narrating this story.
Zoe and Parker are up there, but the little girl next door is just so cute. Plus, the psycho kittens are a hoot.
Top notch. LOVE her reading this series.
He's a workaholic who didn't know what hit him when he stepped into Wyatt's sister's house.
Wow! I like sexual tension in my books, but NOT on almost every page. Geez, no matter what all the 4 and 5 star reviews say there wasn’t enough storyline to this book.
We find out in the beginning of the book that Parker’s after a bad guy, then you don’t read anything else about that bad for about 40 pages. But you do read about how he wants Zoe and she wants him, then they kiss and decide it was a mistake and they shouldn’t do it again, because he’s going to be leaving. Of course it does happen again. Then there’s a page or two about the bad guy (Carver) then back to the thoughts of their desire of one another again. I ended up skipping 8 or 10 pages at a time while they thought about and desired each other before I could find something interesting.
Then the sex began! In the bed. On the floor. On the kitchen counter. In the shower. And always descriptive. This author didn’t care about any story whatsoever. She just wanted a book full of sexual desire and sex. And a couple fighting their feelings as they continued to screw like minks. Well, I need more than that when I read. If she had written a little more about the crooks it might have been a good story it would have been a good book but she spent too much time thinking about where she’d have them have sex again. I’m glad I only paid $1.99 for this or I’d be really upset. (I bought it September 12, 2016 for that $1.99 and now it’s up to $7.99. Good Grief!)
I liked Zoe’s brother and sister, Wyatt and Darcy, and I liked Joe and Kel, but no one was in it that much except Darcy and all she talked about was Zoe going after Parker and having sex with him.
The sex and the desire was toooo much, and I never thought I’d say that because I like sex in my romances but this was all about sex, no real story to speak of, too much page skipping trying to find something worth reading. BUT some readers like a book like this: a sex book without much of anything else. And that’s fine but it’s not for me. I’d have to pass on anything else by this author.
As for the narrator: She’s the only reason I finished with this book. Her emotions were simply awesome. Her voices of both men and women were great. Karen White did everything perfect.
Sassy dialogue, humor, and a great reader are important to me.
yes, as this book has a fast pace, fun dialogue, and sexy hunky men with big mushy hearts.
This opens up fast and keeps on delivering! This book puts you in the mood for a good time and listen.
well, I thought it would be pretty hard for author to beat book #4 & 5 in this series, but this is right up there vying for best in this series. Book #6 was too much of a downer for me so I was waiting for others to review this book. All the Amazon reviewers said this book was a big HIT, and it does deliver big time. Lots of fun witty times starting from page 1 so if you are a fan of this author, this is a MUST.
I love Porter and Wyatt just because author makes them the hunk we all want and love. Ms White is a professional and brings this whole series to life. Her men's voices are to die for especially when sarcasm is involved. See her Julie James series as it still is her best.
