Publisher's summary

For 400 years he was lost to her, but he is hers tonight...

From their first tantalizing touch, Jasmine knows he is different. What other lover could unlock her tight control, flood Vampire senses jaded by a lifetime of decadent self-indulgence? Centuries ago, when he disappeared without a trace, she had given up hope of ever fulfilling the promise of incomparable passion. But here he is, against the very laws of nature, ready to bring down their most vicious enemy, ready to bring her blood to the boiling point...if she will only let him.

Spend some more time with the Nightwalkers - if you dare.

Jacquelyn Frank never disappoints!

I love the Nightwalkers Series and this final book did not disappoint. I would suggest starting the series at book1 instead of picking this one up as a stand alone listen. I read this book in print when it was first released and decided to give it a try on Audible. Xe Sands is a fantastic narrator and I really enjoyed her performance.
If you enjoy a good paranormal romance book then this series is for you. Definitely credit worthy and then some.

Totally Worth It!

I am going to try to be really careful not to give out any spoilers so those that haven’t been able to get your copy will still have the thrill of discovery on this book. I purposely refused to read any other reviews. I didn’t even read the blurb ‘about this book’ because I wanted to be surprised!

[Begin Gush] Wow. I totally loved this book. [End Gush]

This is the sixth book in the Nightwalker series. I highly recommend listening to them in order. Jacquelyn Frank has developed many of the characters throughout the series. You learn a little here and a little there about each one. Also, the plot thickened with each new additional book. Reading Adam first would be like skipping to the back of the book to find out what happens at the end.

This was the perfect way to end the series…almost. I was so excited to realize that Adam would make an appearance in this book and that Jasmin was going to ‘almost’ have her own book. Adam was perfectly melded into the story and it all made perfect sense.

When the story first started out, I had gasped in horror over the first several chapters. I kept thinking, no way … but Jacquelyn Frank had a bit of a suspense thing going on with this book and she drew it out very nicely.

There were several things that happened in this book that are still a mystery, so I wonder …. Children of the Nightwalker series??

The Narration Review
This book was narrated by Xe Sands. Xe has narrated all the books in the nightwalker series. She once again held me captive with her enticing narrative and whole array of character voices and accents. If Xe Sands was chocolate, she would be rich decadent chocolates. :-)

I was expecting more

Is there anything you would change about this book?

I enjoyed the others so much and I just felt this one fell a little short. Things came together but I feel more details were needed. Also is this the ending to the series?? I felt it wasn't clear enough in that aspect.

How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?

I would of made it a longer more detailed story.

Any additional comments?

If you have listened to the other books in this series, then you'll have to hear this one. In my opinion it's the worst book in the series, but it does answer some questions. I just don't like that it leaves me wanting more and not in a good way.

My First Five Star Award Audio Book

First, XeSands is a great narrator. Ms Sands takes a character whether it be man or woman and presents to her audience the small nuances and interpretation that make you believe in the character. One example for me is the vampire Jasmine. She is very arrogant self centered and bored. XeSands gives her a fabulous English accent and you actually get to hear the gall and absolute self-involvement of the character. In this book, Jasmine begins to change and you certainly know why. The premise of the story is interesting and Jacqueline Frank, the author knows how to bring together the time travel of the character and make it believable. You must started from book 1 so you will understand the characters in the story. The book catches your attention from the very first chapter. Yes there are really steamy love scenes. Personally, with some, I just fast forwarded so I could get onto the action of the story.

Interestingly enough, I didn't like book 1 that much, however, I think I'm going to go back and re-listen to it.

Love this book. You may not give it five stars like I did however, if you love fantasy and romance, try this one. I did and I'm glad. And XeSands should get an academy award for her great narrations!

Wow doesn't even cover it!

Let me just say, right now the first three chapters of this book, almost gave me a heart attack... I have never been so emotionally into a book series as much as Nightwalkers and ADAM does not disappoint. I cried, seriously cried after the first plot point. I had to stop, and skip to the end, because I just couldn't fathom reading after the first plot point. Yes, I know I broke all codes of book reading/listening by skipping but this book is so good in the first three chapters, I had to do it. Once I discovered the world did not end and there was still oxygen for me to breathe, I continued after chapter 3 and it just got better and better. Every character, their issue finally came to a head, and Frank just answered every question. Frank really brought everything from the previous books to full circle, the prophecy and everything else. I believe she even left room for Nightwalker kids, because we are still missing one element. Read it and you will know what I am talking about. Great way to end a great series. Jacob is my all time fave of these books, and for Adam to end it was perfect. Read it and you will know what I am talking about.

O I have to say this, The way Frank brought the prophecy to life! Amazing... absolutely amazing! Ignore all the typos, because I just finish listening and had to write the review right away... I just couldn't wait! This series made me realize I give 5 stars too easily. I have went back and re-reviewed all my other books, because this series and fifty shades are the only 5 stars I have listen to so far.

Xe Sand was great. Best narrator I have heard so far, and I listen to a lot of books! She actually is better than Becca Batto, to me and that is saying something...

This book was the best!! I have read all the books before this one and I have to say this was the best! I cried and then I cried some more then I cheered and laughed. So many emotions.. and that was only the first 5 chapters.. This book is worth every bit of money I spent on it and I only hope it's not the last.. I want MORE!! LOL

Great!

I have liked all the books in this series - but as we all know, the more books in a series, the harder it is to make each characters story different. This book has some twists that make it much more interesting than I was expecting. As always Xe Sands does a great
job as narrator. Well worth your credit.

A++ for Adam!

What a stellar ending to an impeccable series! Adam was such a pleasure to listen to, and trust me it hooks you immediately from chapter one. This is a series that is best enjoyed if you start from the first book--they are all fabulous--steamy romance, humor, action, compelling characters and situations that will keep you enthralled the whole time. Very credit worthy!

No one does it better than the Frank/Sands duo....

Yet another great read from Ms. Frank, she never ceases to amaze me. Of course Xe is also one of my all time favorites with her incredible range of narration. Bravo to both, I could not comprehend a world 🌎 without either one of you. A million thank you'd for sharing such incredible talent with the rest of us!

3 1/2 stars; Disappointing ending to the series

For the life if me, I am completely at a loss as why the author sullied this series by ending it the way she did. I believe I read that book 1 was her first published novel and I had noticed a trend of her writing improving, with each book in the series. As a matter of fact, that trend continued through the last book, until the abrupt ending. It's not like it was a cliffhanger leading into the next book, it was the end of the series that just ended with many issues unresolved and even more questions going unanswered. It makes me wish I hadn't even started the series because the series has been left unfinished. I honestly think I will return the series because I will not listen to it again because suffering this disappointed is not something I would wish to do again. I'm very disappointed.
