Interesting stories…

I found this book to be well researched and quite interesting. Lots of detailed information from throughout rock and roll music. Really captivating! I did have trouble keeping up with or enjoying the narration in the beginning but after slowing down the audio, it was good enough. The narrator never seems to take a breath. Still, I’d definitely be interested in Volume 2 should it become audible available!

Simply Sensational

I was totally blow away by the audiobook version of "Rock & Roll Nightmares: True Stories, Volume 1" by talented rock journalist Staci Layne Wilson, the daughter of Don Wilson from the legendary instrumental band, The Ventures. The book is meticulously-researched, as Wilson details the many rock and rock tragedies that have touched us all in an entertaining and illuminating manner. The author opens with the history of the ill-fated 27 Club, and explores the ever expanding list. Wilson breaks down each case individually, and analyzes the many conspiracy theories attached to each untimely passing. The book leaves no stone unturned, from suicides to plane crashes, the bizarre and unexplained, Wilson proves truth is stranger than fiction. Andy Garrison is the perfect narrator for this five-star work. I anxiously await volume 2!
