I hardly knew him other than taking a tumble in a rainstorm in front of his shop... and then tossing myself at him after he rescued me. We shared a moment, but it’s not what you’d think. Months later, he delivered my baby among his cookies and cakes. Talk about a second chance encounter.

Tough start bu5 worth pushing through
I Really thought about dropping this book, as it took a while to get to the heart of the story. I ended up loving the heroine of this story. Once I finally got to meet her the book was great.
I also want to mention that I preferred the female narrator. I felt the male made some poor almost stereotypical woman intonations which were distracting and off pointing. I keep imagining how the female narrator would say the line to get past it.

Love how much love is going on with her and Rhet. Penny needs her own story.
Need a pt 2 should be about Penny and whoever hurt baby daddy is that would be the most excellent story.
