Give it a chance

I love military romantic suspense books. After reading Riley Edward’s Blue Team, this was a little different. I am not saying it was bad. No, the story plot and characters were great. It was just different from what I was used to. I think the narrator had a huge impact on that difference. The female was great and the males did an awesome job with the physo voice. I mean a scary great job but his voice just couldn’t connect me with CJ, the main male character. I’m not sure if it was the accent or the tone. The story was action packed and felt like it could really happen which was scary all in itself. I think I am going to give book two a chance. I have never heard of the narrators on either book so fingers crossed they are good. I hate to say this because I try to find the positive in everything I read. I am not someone to tear another person down but the narrators can make or break a book. Happy reading!
