Publisher's summary

Having saved the distant world of Caeles and its interstellar empire - not to mention the life of its ruler, Queen Dornoccia - Jim (aka Kid Sensation), returns to Earth with two notable prizes. The first is his long-missing grandmother, the alien Princess Indigo. The other is Queen Dornoccia’s great-great-granddaughter, Myshtal, who is a princess in her own right and a budding superhero. And thanks to the machinations of the queen, she’s also Jim’s titular fiancee, a fact that puts something of a damper on Jim’s relationship with his girlfriend, Electra. It also doesn’t help that Myshtal is breathtakingly beautiful, personable, and witty - and lives under the same roof as Jim.

As if his life wasn’t complicated enough, Jim suddenly finds his world invaded by a doppelganger - an unknown individual who looks so much like him that he is even able to fool those in Jim’s inner circle. Even more disturbing, he also mimics Jim’s incredible slate of superpowers.

Framed for crimes he didn’t commit, Jim is forced to seek out his lookalike in order to prove his innocence. However, as the depth of his double’s malevolent plans are revealed, Jim realizes there is far more at stake than simply clearing his name. Now, Jim faces the formidable task of attempting to stop an adversary who not only looks and thinks as he does, but also seems to match him power for power.

this being the seventh book in the series still as engaging as the first with rich World building and character development.

Will Kid/Jim prevail💛

Another great addition to the Kid Sensation series.
I dislike Grey soooo much which just proves how great Kevin writes! The replication concept adds a surprisingly emotive facet to Kids world.
As always highly entertaining and a pleasure to hear.

Good read

My seventh read from author Kevin Hardman. Well-written super-hero sci-fic/suspense, with well-developed characters. With each book Hardman writes the story-line gets more enticing, drawing the reader deeper & deeper. Again narrator Mikael Naramore’s talented narration adds greatly to the book’s enjoyment. I was given an Audible copy of this book & am voluntarily reviewing it. I’ll be reading more in this series. (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018)

Exhilarating and fast paced

They say everyone has a doppelganger, but what would you do if you came face to face with yours? Would anyone noticed the clone wasn't you? In this book that's what Kid Sensation has to face. I love the fact that he has a great support system in this seeies, and that he's never predictable. I'm always on the edge of my seat waiting to hear what happens next. Definitely a must read series that will keep you entertained. I received a complimentary copy of this audiobook, and this is my honest review.

Another interesting story

I find the stories continuation interesting and growing just live Kid Sensation's powers keep developing. This is a 16yr old having to deal with Superpowers and being expected to act as a Adult because responsibility comes with Superpowers. He does a great job but makes mistakes along the way because he is just a 16 yr old kid.

A little Annoyed

i understand you need something to happen for each book but i feel like Jim has no time at all to develop his relationships. something is always happening that draws him away and this book is no different. i think he also should have nerfed the guy but thats my own opinion. anyone comes close to hurting my family and they would be facing injustice superman real fast

Sensational, I really enjoy this series

Kevin hardman and Michael naramore are my favorite pair, I have enjoyed the whole kid sensation series since the first listen. I have been enthralled hearing the characters develop and now his biggest threat is ... himself?. I did request this copy and have left this voluntary review.
