Glenn Michaels is a freelance author and a full-time electrical engineer from Tennessee Tech University. The author has been a fanatic on the subject of science fiction for decades, ever since reading his first sci-fi book, Freddie (the pig) And the Spaceship (1953), when he was in the second grade. Glenn is currently employed by a contractor that tests turbo-jet engines for the United States Air Force but who also worked, for a few years, at Edwards Air Force Base, near Mojave, California.
