the book was suggested to be through Reading other authors who were quoting from who is this man having not read from this author before I thought I would give it a try. unbelievable presentation of the inpredictable presence of Christ throughout all time and relevant in our world today

Like others, I wish the author had read the book. He is more engaging. However the ideas presented in the book will make you think. I've never considered the impact Jesus made on our world with the depth and written by John Ortberg. Great work and well worth the listen.

Not a wasted word or a fluffy story, every word is powerful, every aspect is compelling - he is a great thinker and has given the human race a gift in this book. Well researched, profound! I found myself repeatedly thinking, AMEN, wow, that is fresh, wow, thank you Jesus!

Yes, the book content itself was eye-opening and paradigm shifting. A fantastic read that I will definitley be recommending to friends.

As others have mentioned, the narrator detracted from the book a bit. I would have much rather listened to this being read by the author. However, the book itself was so good that it was worth the minor detractor.

Entertaining and informative

Terrific book. Wonderfully outlines the impacts that Jesus' ministry made in today's world, and also the impacts of it in ancient times. Jesus (in typical fashion) turns the standards and precedents of this world upside down. A must read for anybody, but especially the the christian-thinker.
