You are not alone, says Part I of The Urantia Book. The cosmos teems with trillions of inhabited planets, heavenly worlds and spirit personalities. You are not here by accident. Divine intelligence created the human race for divine purposes.
Highlights from Part 1 include: Who God is; where God resides; how God interacts in your life; the nature and role of the spiritual hierarchy (the Trinity, angels, archangels, Ancients of the Days, etc.); how the universe originated; how it's organized; where it is going; how you fit into it; general concepts about life after death; and why God grants you free will.
Part II describes our local universe of 10 million inhabitable planets. In this section, you'll learn about the personalities and events in our local space region that directly affects this world and your future. Highlights from Part II include: Who Jesus was before he lived on Earth; where he lives now; how he affects your life; how the local universe you live in is organized; the nature and role of local celestial personalities; who Satan and Lucifer are; what happened in the Lucifer rebellion; why Earth struggles in confusion; what human life is like on advanced worlds; where you go after you die; what happens following your resurrection; how you'll meet loved ones and friends in the next world; how love and fairness function within the heavens; and more.

This Book is fascinating. Although complicated, it opened my eyes to new and intriguing concepts of God and the vast number of beings that orchestrate the creation and welfare of billions of inhabited planets, including ours. The kind of book I will read many times! It starts out a little intimidating, but it is worth the effort to keep going.
I can't even imagine what would make this book better other than it never being written. It was hour after hour of sanctimonious, over-elaborated religulous psychobabble. I'd rather stab my ears with an icepick than listen to another hour of it. I actually contemplated counting the superfluous rendundant adjectives and descriptors in each sentence--it was truly stunning how many words were employed just in the interest of telling the listener how impossible it was to adequately describe in human word-symbols the glory of God the Father in all His omnipotent supremacy of self-awareness fulfilling the infinite potentiality of His primordial state of vastness in His utterly self-directing and self-completing loving free will. And that was an understatement.
I just couldn't get through even 3 hours of it.
The two reviews posted were very misleading. I have a hard time believing that no one else was off-put by the inaccessible language, redundancy and general incomprehensibility of the content.
One of the top audiobook I have listened to. This book may be not for everyone, since we are different in our level of consciousness. I love it and feel familiar with the contents. Maybe I have been a student of the universe for many life times.
The Creator Trinity Father and His creation of different levels of beings...
Not specifically. Both of the two narrators did a wonderful work.
Impossible, but I listened it in less than a week.
You may not understand what is saying in the book, but keep your heart open. Only truth will stay and last. No matter what your religion is, this book will worth your time and effort to study. It will enhance your faith. I strongly recommend it.
I have read and studied many books that have been meaningful. I have read one book that has literally transformed my life. It is the Urantia Book. I truly cannot, nor would I want to, imagine progressing and evolving without what is revealed in these papers.
In an earlier time, two ships passing in the night would exchange two primary pieces of information. They would both ask the other ship...where are you coming from...and...where are you going to? With this new information each ship would then update it's own course to get to it's intended destination.
The Urantia Book is just such a revelation for the seeker to do the same.
This book was so boring that I used it as an aid to sleep! It is supposed to be a channelled text from various "heavenly" creatures, however it was primarily Christian with references to the New Testament. All I can really say is that it did not resonate in the slightest with me and I wouldn't recommend it, even if the listener was a fervent Christian. I much prefer the Seth books which do resonate
