Reading a proverb a day can help you and guide you in what you can do better, what you should do and what you are doing well. When you meditate on God's word daily God will speak to you through His word and allow you do His will in His word and God can then direct your steps in the way He wants you to go. I am trying to read a proverb a day for the next year and try to follow what the book says in hopes of becoming more pleasing to God and delighting in God's word, will and way.
George Sarris does a wonderful job of reading the Proverbs in the King James Version of the Bible. He reads them with the proper tone for each proverb. He adds emotion without distracting from the Word.
The King James Version of the Psalms of the Bible read by George W. Sarris is similar because he narrates in a similar manner - with a lot of emotion, but also with reverence for the material.
Yes, I have listened to George W. Sarris read the King James Version of the Psalms. His performance on the Proverbs was just as wonderful as it was on the Psalms.
No - not one in particular.
This would be a great addition to anyone's Biblical audiolibrary. You could just as easily listen to it while you're driving as you could use it to fall asleep at night. George W. Sarris has that remarkable type of voice that is simulaneously engaging and calming.
