Simple, short and gets right to the point

Absolutely life changing! it's a huge burden off your shoulders after you realize the basic simplicity of grace

You are loved

I love the indescribable Brennan Manning. He doesn’t beat around the bush and you must slowly ingest his words a little at a time. Why? Because they’re so meaty that contemplation is frequently required. Some may breeze through but I found that fairly impossible. His reminders of God’s love for us, despite our faults and shortcomings may seem fairly simple, but accepting that love is far different. KNOWING it in your heart and soul takes a bit more commitment on the journey. Brennan is real, down to earth, conversational and delivers the message straight to your brain while the rest of the day it will slowly melt into your heart. This is not meant to be labor-intensive, but also cannot be rushed in my opinion. God’s word does not return void—and Brennan puts it out there for you to absorb. If you have not read “Abba’s Child” it is required reading by this author.

This book has touched so much. I couldn’t put it down. I would read along as I listened in the Audible app. That is the best way to focus on the words and not drift off in thought.
