Very informative

I liked everything about this book except when they switched readers during a chapter nearly 2/3’a the way through the book.

Classic for a reason.

How can I even attempt to offer in a review for such a genius as CS Lewis? It is profound, its approachable. I’ve just finished it and I could start all over again. And I think I will add it to my yearly reading list -reading it once every year of my life it’s not too much.

A must read for anyone who questions their creation and purpose

This is the second time I’ve “read” this book. It was instrumental in my becoming a Christian. And now, more than a decade later is just as relevant, if not more so, in my life.

I highly recommend this to any professing Christian new or old as well as anyone who is open to the idea that there is a God who created the universe.

C.S. Lewis is brilliant in his explanations and philosophical approach to faith.

Classic Everyone Should Read

Wish I had read it earlier. Life-changing. I will read again and share widely.

Worthy the listen

It is a bit monotone but the material is excellent. I found some of the examples really helpful in my walk in Christianity.

The Best

I first read Mere Christianity over 40 years ago as a young teenager. More than any other author, I credit CS Lewis and Mere Christianity for my conversion to Christ. This book describes Christ and scripture in much the way a good preacher elucidates the Bible. He brings it together into an aha moment. At 62 I am still astonished at this book's capacity to do so. in some very minor ways it seems to be a product of its times, the early 1940s. Yet, all in all it's message is timeless and compelling!

sweet and "simple" but deeply profound

Simple because it is non denominational basic Christianity. Profound because the way Lewis presents Christianity shows how deep and wide and magnificent is the God who has humanity's best interests in mind.

Beautifully Written!

I recommend this to all who are seeking truth and especially those who have accepted Christ. This is milk and meat. It definitely give a person some things to consider. Typical C.S. Lewis fashion and it is well read!

great book by great author

has been a favourite inspirational and thought provoking book all my adult life. really good to get an audio version.
