What can compare?
This is the best book ever written. It comes to life. Every read, no matter how much is read shows so many epiphanies. Best investment for this world, too.

Good job Zondervan.
I have read the Bible several times and have tried many different audio versions. This one is the best that I have found yet. I enjoy listening to books that I know well, on my on my MP3 player, while I am doing other things, as don't have to concentrate on them the whole time and can stay with the story easily. I just listened to over seven hours of the version without a break and enjoyed every minute of it. Very easy listening. Good job Zondervan.

Falsely Advertised
Pros: Enjoyable Listen. If not for all the "Cons" below, I would have rated this as a total of five stars.
Cons:
1. Advertised as "Complete". It is only Old Testament
2. Advertised as "Dramatized". Technically, it is not advertised. It has background music (no sound affects) - also just has different voices reading the different parts (this in my opinion, does not mean "dramatized").
3. Does not advertise who is doing the different voices (this would be a nice feature)
4. After downloaded, it does not show what book you are listening to, etc. Therefore, if you wanted to listen to a particular book, very difficult to locate the book.
Seems like the people who publish Bible Audio Books would find a way to format it so you can view books, chapters etc, - view what you are listening to.
Other than all the above, I really enjoyed listening to.

Good Reading, But Not Dramatized
I can't give this any less than five stars because:
1. It is the KJV (best translation IMO)
2. It's the Word of God
The good: excellent readers, calming background music, beautiful and timeless KJV text
The bad: calling this "dramatized" is a stretch. There are almost no sound effects and the voices are reading, not acting. This is far from the Word of Promise or the Bible Experience (also available on Audible). It is read too fast at times, which is disappointing because the KJV needs to be read slowly, in order to meditate upon the text and contemplate it's meaning. It sounds to me that the reading was sped up in places because it sounds choppy. The music rarely matches the mood. It is obvious to me that Zondervan didn't pay much attention to the music and probably just placed it on a continuous cycle.
I will say that Faith Comes by Hearing has produced an excellent KJV audio Bible that is actually dramatized with sound effects and great acting. Furthermore, it's free. The music is a mixed bag but it is a great production for free.
Other reviewers have already pointed out the trouble Audible has with chapter divisions.
This is a good audio Bible, but it is not dramatized. Don't go in thinking dramatization in the sense of sound effects and dramatic music. It is basically a good multiple voice reading (probably about 50 readers - some play many roles) with background music that doesn't quite fit the mood.
