This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Would you consider the audio edition of James Earl Jones Reads The Bible to be better than the print version?
Both audible and print versions have their respective appeal. I have both. There are times when it's not possible to read - walking and public transport then I revert to audible so as not to waste any time. Both versions compliment each other.

It's the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the TRUTH. It reveals life in its raw state with no hidden agendas.

There are many people named by name, but only one character - Jesus Christ.

Lovely accent for listening to the Bible
This recording is not perfect, but it is very well done. On the app you can choose the speed at which you would like the reading to take place. Most of all the ancient stories of the Bible contain truth and hope for our present and future.

Love listening to him!
I suffer from severe anxiety and insomnia. My "go to" book has always been the Bible. Then I found James Earl Jones on Audible reading the Bible. His comforting voice coupled with my favorite Book helps calm me. I let it play all night. Best sleep ever!! I highly recommend this to everyone!

Chapter naming
I got this because I like James Earl Jones voice. I’m not disappointed. All 5 stars. I do have a suggestion. The chapters run 1-260. It would be nice if they could be by who. Example: Mathew 1, Mathew 2, etc. Then adding a search to find specific topics would be nice.
