Couldn't be better

Listening to it is like watching a movie. Extremely theatrical, entertaining, and in line with the Word. I've tried many versions of recorded bibles and this is by far the best. It's also great recognizing the voices. The sound effects are just enough; they are not overwhelming at all. Great study tool. My best purchase from this site.

Love It

I Love It b/c Whenever I cant sleep or just want to hear the word instead of turning on the TV O play this&it just soothes My Spirit to hear Most of My Favorite Celebrities Read the Bible to Me the only thing missing is I cant go directly to the different books of the Bible when I want to hear a certain scripture b/c it doesnt have a guide but other than that I am Grateful its Available!

Every word of the Bible

The readings were generally wonderful. The music was not always of a uniform standard of excellence.

Varying Quality

I’ve been listening to this version of the Bible for years. I love many things about it. But it does have some serious issues.

The gospels and the Pentateuch are particularly good.

The epistles have these random multi minute gospel music “interludes” that interrupt the letters in random places, often don’t fit musically, and I don’t like them. (Thankfully in a recent update, they became separate tracks so they can skipped… but I only listen to the epistles when I can easily skip.)

The deep cuts of the OT are a much lower production value. I guess they assumed fewer people would ever listen. Some times sound effects are much too loud (bird chirping throughout Ephesians, for example) that make parts almost unlistenable.

So, it is worth getting but I wish it would be rereleased with some minor updates.

i really liked this vision of the audio bible. it's powerful. there are some musical inserts within a few chapters that reflect what that chapter says.

I've enjoyed bible-is. This takes that to another level when you want to just play the bible without watching tv, and want the true experience of an audio book. I love this.

Replace Chapter Numbers with Book NAMES

Would you consider the audio edition of Inspired By...The Bible Experience to be better than the print version?

My ONLY complaint is that it's listed by chapters and not BOOKS! Who lists a bible by chapter numbers? It makes it hard to move around.

I'm biased. The Bible is the best book ever written. These amazing voice-actors amplify it.
