Best way to read the Bible hands down!

I love that I can listen to the Bible in such an interactive way. I listen little bits at a time in my car to and from work. I have ADD and have found it horribly frustrating to read the bible. What a joy listening to it. This is the first time I have read the New Testament from beginning to end. I know some do not like that the verses are not introduced, but the books are, and it is more like a story this way. The music is great too!

fun fun fun and beautiful

love the background music and different voices. makes reading engaging and dynamic. I like to read along with this and take notes in my Bible and underline when I want to read a bunch of scripture at once.


I was going to just do a quick quiet time on the airplane but I read...
Rev 1:3 says blessed os the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy and are those who hear...
so I wanted to be blessed, so I listened! and then I thought I might as well listen to the whole thing! loved it! and I consider myself blessed :)

Great story telling which made for a great listening. It brought life to the Bible to keep my interest.

Very Satisfied

This is the third Bible that I've downloaded from Audible.com and this is by far the best.

It is easy to understand and is interesting and captivating, particularly the Old testament.It has good sound-effects and different character speakers.The speakers speak at a normal pace so that the listener has time to understand what is being said, which is good for me because I don't like it when people talk too fast.

I am waiting to get a better listening device so I can listen to it in sound quality of 4. Right now my present device only will accept a sound quality of 3. But never the less, it is still good enough.

It is my favorite and is great when I have insomnia and want something to listen to or just during the day when I am relaxing.

I would rate it as 6 stars but since there are only 5 stars, thus I rate it a 5.

Saved by grace

I wanted to find a way to pass time at work. I've always wanted to read the entire bible and thought this would provide the perfect opportunity to make that happen. Along the way, I was saved! Thank you Lord for your word and thank you to those who made this wonderful work of art. The voices of Paul and Jesus were especially memorable.

A lot of artistic license

This is a very entertaining series but it is not intended to be an audio Bible so a lot of additional dialog is added. Once you accept that, it is very well put together and a great tape to listen to while working or driving.

Blair Underwood does an amazing job...

I experienced no particular problems with the audio quality that other listeners have complained of, I suppose it's a matter of personal preference and tolerance. I personally like the way it was done and found it wonderfully entertaining.

I would like to particularly speak about the voice acting in this piece, Blair Underwood is the best actor to play/do the voice of Jesus that I've heard thus far. The actor who did Paul's voice (please excuse me forgetting what his name is) also stood out to me.

I have several different audio Bibles, and this is my favorite.

It's Good but not as expected

It is a good but the sound itself is not the way i like it. The speakers voices are muffled in some places. I believe it well beyond the worth of 7 but i wouldn't buy it for the 34 dollars sounding the way it sounds.

It's like your in the movies without a pictures. The actors done okay
