Druidry and Wicca are the two great streams of Western Pagan tradition. Both traditions are experiencing a renaissance all over the world, as more and more people seek a spirituality rooted in a love of nature and the land. Increasingly, listeners are combining the ideas of both traditions to craft their own spiritual practice. In this down-to-earth, inspiring guide, Philip Carr-Gomm offers a name for this Path that draws on the common beliefs and practices of Wicca and Druidry: DruidCraft.
DruidCraft draws on the traditions of scholarship, storytelling, magical craft and seasonal celebration of both the Craft and Druidry to offer inspiration, teachings, rituals, and magical techniques that can help you access your innate powers of creativity, intuition and healing.

This book provides answers and guidance above and beyond the average seekers mission. Along with its wonderful stories and insightful information I bed down for several listens.
Really enjoyed the way the information was presented in a story-telling way. I listened to it twice back to back. It will be an audiobook that I will revisit.
It had many points of view on the differences and similarities of Wicca and Celtic Paganism. While also teaching strictly about following the Druid path.
The philosophy and the lessons about the Gods and Goddesses of the House Tuatha
the point where they discussed the Selkie
This was overall a nice approach to modern practice in a chaotic fast paced world with old world philosophy.
I read a lot. But I listen to books I either would never normally buy or would have a hard time getting through.
Well presented, enjoyed the multiple reader style used for the stories within the book. This is a good introduction to Druidic Wicca.
I turned the book off after the statement that "only the foolish and mentally ill use intention to hurt people". Not only does this disparage a group that, by and large, don't curse anyone. But it is horribly fluffy bunny. I've noticed a frightening trend recently of the so-called wise jumping on the "blame the mentally ill" bandwagon. I've never bought anything from Philip Carr-Gromm before, and if this is the nature of his good intention, I won't do it again.
"An excellent overview"
Some wonderful, powerful, thought and spirit provoking content of the magick of two modern paths combined into the ancient old religion, as they were intended. Drink from the 5 senses in the spiritual pool.
"Wonderful use of the audio book format"
A creative use of this format for the telling of tales and imparting of wisdom. Very high production values.
The material - bringing together the worlds of Druidry and Wicca - is pertinent and timely for those exploring a pagan path.
An excellent introduction to these spiritual ideas but there is a lot in the material for those who have experience of either (or both) Druidry and Wicca.
Good use of storytelling supported by historical information and practical ideas for personal exploration.
brilliantly products and read. many new thoughts to be had hear regarding two pagan religions blended together described as a new and interesting way of working with one spirituality. well worth another read.
"Can Only Listen on the Computer!?!"
Don't get me wrong, this is a good book put together by very talented people. In fact, I would go so far as to say that it is much better than average and it is obvious that a lot of care has been put into its creation. But, if you are like me and like to listen to your audiobooks in the car or on the go, this one is not for you. It has been formatted to prevent burning onto audio CDs. I understand why the authors/publishers might want to prevent unauthorized distribution of their work but they fail to understand how most people listen to audiobooks. So, buy at your own risk. It is such a shame.
