Publisher's summary

Crashing the chatterbox = Overpowering lies of insecurity, fear, condemnation, and discouragement with the promises of God.

“I used to think that someone who struggled with the kinds of weaknesses I deal with daily was useless to God. I felt so often like I was drowning in internal dialogue I couldn’t control. It had been the soundtrack of my life for as long as I could remember.

Yet everything changed when I began to realize God has given us the ability to choose the dialogue we believe and respond to. And once we learn how, we can switch from lies to truth as deliberately as we can choose the Beatles over Miley Cyrus on satellite radio.

This is the key to pressing ahead and doing God’s will anyway, even as you are bombarded with thoughts, feelings, and even facts about why you can’t do it.

Keep on Truckin'

I chose the title above because as a pre-teen in the 70's, that was the coolest t-shirt my older brother wore. It's akin to the book's meaning... stay undeterred! I laughed some and listened thoroughly. Only Pastor Furtick could do it justice by reading his words 👏🏾👏🏾

So True!!!

I gave it 5 stars mainly because it is my wife and I’s dream to visit Elevation and not have to rely so much on a watch party to here Pastor Steven Furtick speak. We live on the Coast near Myrtle Beach SC. But everything about this book is so true. We often take for granted the fact that everything is going according to God’s plan or else we wouldn’t be going through it. And “God will get you through it all” ironic as that sounds it still remains true. A must buy book. Once again we here at the coast would love to open a sister church or even have you as a guest speaker. We will see you live one day, “Lord willing!”

Best book I've ever read excluding the Bible.

As I was learning these things on my own God placed this instruction guide into my mind & heart. This book can transform anyone's life for the better.

Brilliantly Written- Valuable Info

Thank-you Pastor Steven!
Crashing The Chatterbox is a REMARKABLE description of how we allow the voice of our minds to hurt us & effect how we see ourselves. It is a daily battle and we often do not recognize it as such. This book provides tools to teach you how to recognize the dialog in our minds, our self talk. It points out examples of how our thoughts can be harmful to how we see ourselves & they can effect our self esteem. This book explains tips on how to turn that chatter around into more productive thinking.
Pastor Stevens honestly in acknowledging his own struggles with the chatterbox of his mind and sharing how it impacts his everyday life helped make this book very relatable. This book is written in such a way that it is nothing less than brilliant & inspiring!!!
This shines a light on a topic that is not often talked about, but absolutely should be. I believe this is a must read book for everyone! I never watch a movie twice or re-read/listen to a book. BUT I can't wait to listen to this again & to share it with everyone.
Highly recommend and I know what I learned in this book I will use daily!

A gifted servant of Jesus

This book came to me at a challenging time in my life. Post 2 brain surgeries with a large tumor remaining. Forced into retirement- letting go of independence etc Steven’s message came exactly when I needed . Encouraging, inspiring, honest. He is indeed a faithful servant. I have recommended his books, you tube messages to many. Thank you very very much.

Crash the Chatterbox

Great information! Sadly, not in keeping with Steven Furticks great "stage presence"(for lack of better description.) that I am accustomed to. The reading needs lots of work. I'm so sorry to Steven. I don't wish to upset the guy, but it was hard to listen to. I would much rather have read it myself.
