I can’t decide if I like the message

I found the toggling back and forth between the male and female narrator to be a little confusing and annoying. So much of the message is uplifting and hopeful, and then some of it leaves me feeling very conflicted and quite frankly upset. I think it depends on the individual reader how it will be perceived and absorbed or rejected.

These books helped me cope while I sat on rock bottom. I was a first-time mother to a 6 month old and had just left an abusive relationship with my babies father. I would listen to these books over and over again during my 1-1.5 hr commute to work, my only real alone time.

Gratefully, I am in a different space in journey today (6 years later). I still enjoy picking a random Conversations with God book and listening to random chapters. I’m STILL finding chapters where it feels like I am hearing some of the material for the first time.

If you have stumbled upon this book, read it. There are no coincidence in life. Consider that this is in fact a sign from your soul, spirit guides, higher self, or an answer to your prayer - whatever you believe! This may just answer your “there has to be more to life than this, question” as it did for me 6 years ago.

Of the many wonderful books out there, this one is especially wonderful.

A life-changing book

What made the experience of listening to Conversations with God, Book 1 the most enjoyable?

The overall message, the depth in which issues were tackled, and the performances by all involved got the book across in a way that conventional reading may not have, as I'm a slow reader in this way.

ti tackled universal themes in a way that resonated with me, even challenged me at times.

Not until this book, and I listened to the other "books" in the series. This one was the gateway drug, as it were, to my immersing into the others.

If you're like me, this book will resonate in a way that feeds on the things that I knew instinctively, yet never knew how to put into words until now. Be open to surprise, especially if reading with lifelong religious and spiritual beliefs that may run counter to what's being said. It's brought clarity to my world.

Amazing perspective changing book

I would recommend this book to every single person in the world, regardless of your religious beliefs. It provides a logical perspective of what we think of as "god".
