It includes more than 40 true stories of miraculous provision, encounters with angels and demons, near-death experiences, and incredible rescues.
You'll marvel at how God and His angels are working behind the scenes to protect and guide us. And you'll be comforted by glimpses of the peace that awaits us in heaven. The God who pulled back the curtain for a moment in the lives of these writers is the same God who works all things together for our good. Whether you're simply curious about the supernatural world or longing for a fresh experience of God's presence, these amazing stories will touch your heart and strengthen your faith in the God of miracles.

Well read, easy to listen to.
Life After Life
No- listened several times
a very good audible book
I was looking forward to listening to uplifting stories but the narration was awful. I got 15 minutes in and he took his, whatever accent he had, and gave the hispanic woman in a story an accent. If thats what is hispanics sound like than I will never speak again. His tone was almost perky throughout but some stories should not be read as such. Again, i only got through 15 minutes or so.
It's a compilation of Christian testimonials about miracles.
Reader's voice was clear and well read, I just don't particularly care fore the "nice guy sappy voice".
Awesome book ! It was so encouraging to listen to so many people's accounts of their brush with the miraculous . I knew I had to buy it after reading several reviews of people being offended by the Christian content . As Jesus said : many will be offended, will betray one another , and will hate one another . Mathew 24:10
The stories give the impression that if you are not a missionary, meditate, or stray from the Bible in anyway, you are not worthy. I do not like this book. I thought it would be inspitationaly, but the stories are so simplistic, they seem as if they are written for 1st grade Sunday school class.
most of the book
It seems like an opportunity to plug Christianity, especially the type of Christianity that believes all other forms of spirituality or Religion are evil. I was raised Christian & I'm so sick of that message!
Like most of the Audible books I have listened to on this subject, the author is not interested in exploring this topic in any kind of open-minded way but he already "knows" the cause and effect of these phenomena.
Everything is presented through a very narrow Christian aperture which is fine as far as it goes but I would have liked some kind of warning before buying. If it weren't for Audible's new return policy, I would be seriously considering cancelling my subscription because this has happened several times before.
There are many books out there on the subject of angels and miracles that are an honest, non-prejudicial examination of the subject(s). Somehow these kinds of books never make it to Audible.
I frankly don't care what a person chooses to believe but I can live without the tedious repitition and the denigration of beliefs and practices that don't happen to fit into the author's worldview. From where I'm sitting, these are the kinds of fundamentalist views that maintain the illusion of separation between peoples, allowing hatred to prosper.
Don't know but I will steer away from these topics on Audible.
The reading was lively with engaging inflection.
All the fundamentalist Christian stuff but then there'd be no book. I was however particularly offended by the so-called "demonic" attack in the Buddhist temple. The implication was that the statue of the Buddha somehow attracted a demon because it is a false god. The demon then of course attacked the only Christian minister present. Well, I'm thinking if this so-called demon can read minds like this, then maybe he attacked the one person who was thinking less-than loving and respectful thoughts during a solemn ritual for the dead that didn't happen to be Christian...
This book contains short, faith raising, real life stories of God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) protecting and providing for His people. It's not about 'heroes of the faith' from either the distant or recent past. It affirms His miraculous care in the present for His people, ordinary people like you and me, when the unexpected and unwanted happens. I found myself many times thanking and praising God for His involvement in the circumstances of His people. Because it's a series of short real life stories it's easy to listen in short snatches - perfect for listening when beginning your day or winding down at night.
