The wonderful Deepak Chopra and Gregg Braden on one audio! Need I say more? This audio speech is a great sampling of Gregg Braden's work, bringing together information from his research and books. However, if you have already read or listened to Gregg's other books, this audio can sound a little repetitive. If you are wondering about Gregg's work, then this is a great place as any to start, hence the five stars.
A good listen but Braden seems to repeat alot of things that I have known from his other works and you practically can predict what he is going to say next.I will still read the older forms of theosophy because it suits my current needs and I find there is more 'ancient wisdom" in it then a lot of current or modern books on spirituality. It is also too short for a such a fancy title.
I normally really like Gregg Braden and Deepak Choopra. Deepak only speaks briefly in this audio. Gregg Braden is one of my favorite authors...but this was just lacking. It was ok, but not as good as his other books...in my opinion.
It was short and not very interesting
My first intro to how the dead sea scrolls really verify some of the current practice of mindful meditation/ specific prayer or "enlightenment" and that the original writings only enhance one's spirtuality.
This book is a good introduction to another book that was more in depth about the topic.
Narrative makes the world go round.
I'm not sure what I expected from this, but Braden seemed to take some well known ancient wisdom, re-package it slightly, and pretend he was letting his audience in on a "secret" (No pun intended, but I think there is one there!). I have also a 3.5 hour Greg Braden download to listen to, so I hope that there is more substance in that one.
The content was FANTASTIC!! However, as it is part of a lecture you can hear other microphoned people whispering through it. Also, it's part of a weekend retreat is sounds like. I would like to get a copy of all the lectures from that retreat.
So, many people will say that the Bible and Koran have never been changed. Yet in both cases this has been proven untrue completely. I’ve traveled the middle east and found that depending where you are and who is in control of the local ministries the Koran is changed. The same is true with the Bible with the King James version being the biggest example. Then we have Pope Benedict the 16th who edited the Bible to further weaken woman in it.
Here we learn more about the ‘Dead Sea Scrolls’ and the impact they’re having because everyone agree that the Council of Nicaea edited out 25 books from the Bible and hacked the remaining ones to pieces. For the first time in our history we can see the truth, but we’re too busy holding onto a sinking ship of race, pain, us versus them mentality or Pagan verse the Catholic Church instead of seeing the truth. We’re all one and were all loved! We are going to move forward and it’s only a matter of time. Read the ‘Dead Sea Scrolls’ and be open to the teachings there.
"not a book at all..."
this is a lecture given loosely around a book and really doesn't represent an audiobook at all. I have liked what I have read of his other books but this is a lecture he gave, more or less advertising his book at a Deepak Chopra workshop. Leaves you with nothing you can work with and is all hype. Spend your money on something else...
"wisdom beyond words"
Perfect and consice knowledge imparted with love. What more can I say. except thank you Gregg and Deepak for sharing.
