Rejuvenation

this was not what I was expecting. it was interesting but to be honest it was not my cup of tea. I didn't like how she would say she loved him but still call him bad names. all he wanted was love and to be expected. the one other thing I didn't like was that he hit her. idk maybe if I listen to it again I might change my mind.

a different story line

This is a unique twist on Vampires. I liked learning about the different types of Vampires. I didn't like how forceful he is with her, gives me rape vibes. It was a nice length for a short story. The narrator did a good job! I don't think I'd be interested in hearing more about her story although I did like the ending.

Whoa

This was a crazy but good book, the narrator wasn't that bad, she could've done better but overall she read the book pretty good, I enjoyed the different species of vampires, which were pretty good

The story was interesting and kept my attention. I want to read book 2 in the series after this to see what happens.
PROS: Interesting story, different premise, actually kept my attention.
CONS: Some of the sex in the book would be better described as rape. Sex is consentual. The recording is not the highest quality also.

Different Vampire Story

This was not the typical vampire romance I was used to reading. This book has a lot of religious content deploring the evils of vampirism where killing is of the devil. There is a rift from the evil faction of vampires who belive vampires can have their souls saved. This narrator did a good job. I am not sure I can say I like or dislike this book.

Loved it

It’s not perfect but is is so entertaining! The storyline was fresh and performed beautifully. The ending was fantastic. I highly recommend this book.

I loved it!

I loved it! This is what a short story is supposed to be! The story was quick paced, exciting, and even ended with a twist!
The story was cerebral and made me think along with the main character. I enjoyed the attempt to mix science fiction with the supernatural. It gave the story a unique position to start from. I loved it! I was given (by my request) an audiobook copy by the author in exchange for an honest review.

Good Start

I had to wait a while to do this review to settle my feelings about it. It's an interesting take on vampirism. The story just seems incomplete, like this is a piece of the book. Even if this is the first book of a series, there should be a much better conclusion. I was just left flat at the end.

A Vampire Story

Rejuvenation by Marion Tucker is a different spin on a vampire story that I listened to on audio narrated by Rebecca McKernan. The story kept me engaged. I enjoyed the spin where you usually hear how werewolves imprint on a mate, but in this case the vampire did. I liked that the story did not end on a cliffhanger but did leave it open if the author chooses to make a second book. I really liked Rebecca’s voice. However, it was hard to determine each character since she did not change the tone for them. I look forward to listening to future projects by Marion and Rebecca. I would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys vampires and dark romances.
