Publisher's summary

After rescuing me from the Andersons, my men are dreaming of a bloody revenge. Me? All I want is to be left alone long enough to work through finals and enjoy my free time with the boys who love me so much.

But we can't find peace until the Andersons are gone. I have the knowledge I need to fight back, but the enemy still has an ace in the hole. He's a demon named Ash, extremely powerful, and one of the first people I met when I moved into town.

Not like I knew he was a demon then, but I didn't recognize the rest of my pack for what they were, either.

Worse, outsiders are starting to take interest in the conflict between us and the Andersons. I can't trust them to help us, but the possibility of what they'd do with our secrets sends shivers down my spine. I don't want to have to be rescued again.

Together we have a chance at victory. Apart...we're doomed.

Contains mature themes.

Fantastic end to a magical adventure!

I waited excitedly for the final chapter of Dakota Brown’s Mountain Magic series to be released out in audiobook! It was definitely worth the wait! The story comes to an end but I know that I will definitely miss Sophia and her men! Although I sure..."there is a spell for that!"

pretty good

This was an interesting take on pnr. I will say that by the end, it felt more poly than rh, and although there's finally a group scene in this book, most of the steam is alluded to, rushed, or glossed over. Every time I thought it would heat up, they suddenly had somewhere else to be. Tbh I expected a lot more spice with the rh trope, but I liked the storyline enough to stick with it. If you're here for the heat, keep looking. Otherwise, this was an entertaining distraction from real life.

The main thing I like about this series is that our fmc is not whiney. She's a little clueless in book one but catches on quickly. This stems from being raised by humans with no mage training and makes sense in the storyline.

Book 2, she was possessed for most of the book, so we got to know the guys a little better. By book 3, she's found her stride.

**spoilers**
None of the other reviews give names, and I looked! Our fmc started with Doc, Ed, and Allen. Nikolai got added along the way, and Ash joins them in this final installment. Nikolai is probably my favorite, and I agree with other reviews that we don't get enough of Allen and Ash.

*TWs**
Sophie's dad is racist and speciest. There's not a lot of him in the books, but it's enough to be worth mentioning. He chills out by the end and helps them when it counts, but it's at the very end. I really don't like him.

Ok

storyline ok, but for reverse harem...dull to tepid. Female narrator could have been more believable.
