Publisher's summary

Fated to lead a rebellion against Rome. Destined to become a legend. From New York Times best-seller Melanie Karsak, author of the Celtic Blood series, comes a gripping historical fantasy series of ancient Britain, Celtic gods, a fated romance, and the warrior queen who defied Rome.

Britain, A.D. 43. With the arrival of the Romans, Boudica’s world is in upheaval. She and Prasutagus must decide where they stand. Will they fight the invaders alongside Caratacus, or bargain with the Romans to secure the future of the Iceni? Every choice seems like a bad one. But more than anything, Boudica wants to keep her people and her family safe. Whispers from the greenwood—the groves, the rivers, and the stones—warn of unseen dangers. Can Boudica protect all she loves without bowing to the eagle?

Continue the epic tale of the famous warrior queen in Queen of Stone: A Novel of Boudica, book two in the Celtic Rebels series.

Enjoyed this!

I hope there will be a 3rd volume to the story. Characters are relatable and the snippets of historical features make it better for me.

Amazing & Fantastic Story!!

I loved it and can't wait for the next book!
Boudica must now play a dangerous, political game with the Romans to keep all her people safe. The plot twists had me on edge, and I completely devoured this book. The narrator is amazing and did a beautiful job making this story come alive!!
Highly recommend, this is a must read book, series and author!!

Anxiously awaiting next story

After Queen of Oak I could not wait for this next installment of Queen of Stone. Boudica’s story is woven from her past loves, past lives, history and future. I let myself get pulled in, not really knowing what my heart wants for her and feeling the deepest longing she must have all of it. I was left at the end with my eyes staring, mouth gaping open, clinging to the words, when it ended. Please tell me the next in the series is in the works. I could listen to Leslie Parkin narrate anything. Her characters come alive, making me laugh and cry. Pix being my most favorite of course.

Like all of her books, she leaves you wanting more. The story building to the point you feel you are there. I cannot wait for the next one!!

Brings the characters to life. Personalities are detailed.

I finished wanting more. Looking forward to the next book. I will definitely follow this author.

Good story-disappointing narrative

How many times can a person hear the same words used in a story without it sounding elementary? The overall plot is good, though the words waspishly and especially chuckled were so overused it’s like the publisher printed an unedited draft rather than a professional manuscript.

Queen of Stone

This book was not up to the quality line of Queen of Oak. I felt it was circling around the same thing over and over.
