Really Good!

A different take on the post apocalyptic tale. Kept me hooked until the end and left me wanting to listen to the 2nd book in the series. That’s really all I’m asking for out of a story. Very enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

Wow, this book..

This book was an amazing listen. I’m in bed recovering from a surgery that limits my mobility and am so thankful to have found this masterpiece to help take my mind on an harrowing, exciting, thought provoking adventure. The narration is top notch and the story is one that will stick with me for a long time. Can’t wait for the next book!

Must read- especially if you gave Long Covid, Chronic Fatigue, and especially if you haven’t.

Great book by any standard, but as someone with 15 years stolen by Chronic Fatigue, the author’s personal story may actually give me my life back as I start down the same

I didn't want to stop listening. it's hard for me to find a book that I really enjoy. it's like finding a needle in a hay stack .this is one of those needles

I dont write too many reviews.
I wanted to write this short review because I want to encourage people to give it a listen, and because the author asks his readers to do so at the end.
I have listened to almost all PA books out there, and have read the ones not in audio form. This book is up there. It leads, at the end, to a sequel but one can be satisfied with it as a stand alone.
The book is well researched and you can tell the author put alot into it. A lot of PA books are just ripped from templates it seems. This one is not.
It's 1st person taken from two POV's. Both POV's do meet at the end.
It's a good pandemic PA book that I recommend.

Good story!

Interesting premise, well described settings, does hopscotch a little geographically..emotional struggles of characters explored-especially the effects of long-term trauma on trust and optimism. Important tie-in at the end by author..

Never a dull moment!

This was a wild ride that ended way too soon. I can’t wait for Merry Men!

Unique , intriguing and action packed!

Well crafted plot line with excellent character development grounds the fast paced action in this fight to save humanity. I became invested in the two heroes and can't wait for next book!

Great parts some parts a little anti science

Some individual scenes are some of the best writing I have encountered in the genre. My main issue with the story might be unintentional which feeds anti science sentiment and anti vaccine which is extremely dangerous. I plan to read the next book however i hope the story can course correct on those sentiments.

Hooked from beginning to end. I will be waiting anxiously for the next book in the series.
