Publisher's summary

Alien infestation and an interstellar extermination fleet threaten Earth. Only the Phase Titan stands in the way.

The Swarm is mortal. Ethan, with the help of his Harmonics, destroyed one outbreak and harvested its power. The problem? Ethan wasn’t Earth’s first Phase Titan, and his predecessors did him no favors by scattering the Titan armaments.

The only lead is a ransacked university research lab taken over by an Archive dedicated to preserving mankind’s knowledge. Somewhere in this vast collection, the Titan armaments hide. And it’s under attack by an anti-technology mob convinced humanity was the architect of the apocalypse.

Worse, they find signs of the Swarm.

Who are this professor and her student, both touched by the Swarm yet still human? Hybrids, they call themselves. The result of experimenting with Swarm biology. The key to mastering the alien infestation threatening Earth. Something of theirs is missing too—a priceless biological specimen that might just be humanity’s greatest weapon against the Swarm.

It’s a race to recover the Titan armaments and find the Hybrids’ specimen before it dies, all while Ethan’s Titan presence draws the growing Swarm menace to finish what the mob has started. And somewhere in all this, the Archive demands that Ethan find, of all things, a printer.

Drones, babes, and interstellar bugs—the Phase Titan goes back to school.

I enjoyed this one, even better than book 1!

Phase Titan 2 by Leo Hull is a great book 2 in the Phase Titan series. I absolutely enjoyed this one, even better than book 1! Each character develops further, the world in which we find ourselves expands and is better developed, and the plot continues to move at a good place. I look forward to book 3! Audio Version: Christopher Harbour and Mandy McCullough do an excellent job with the narration and each of their characters. They really brought the story to life with this one.

Unique premise

I think the plot line is completely unique, it is refreshing in a genre that has so many repeated tropes. I am really enjoying this series so far.

Definitely an upgrade!

I found myself drawn in so much more in this book compared to the last. The search to fix a past wrong and way to solve future problems. New faces, good and bad. Possible answers to questions that hadn’t been asked. And pushing our favorite Titan beyond what he thought he could handle. Yep, there was some great upgrades in this sequel. And the next is looking to be another escalation as a new threat is beyond the horizon!

Really amazing series

This one was better than the 1st one. It wasn’t absolutely amazing from the very beginning. I can’t wait for book 3. Perfect narration.

Awesome Sequel

When it comes to a sequel, I am personally looking for everything that made the last book worth it and then some. In my opinion that is this book. The writing was solid. For those reading this review who are new to this series, the story starts with our main character working what appears to be the night shift at a government lab as a low-level employee. He gets warned to never go into a specific area and has been subjected to some fairly invasive security checks at random when leaving. On this auspicious night he finds himself being ordered into that secured area with some governmental security forces accompanying him and then everything goes terribly wrong. He awakes to a beautiful woman, but unlike some of the portal fantasy books he has not left earth and he's technically not in a new body. The item of power was alien in origin and the beautiful young woman is the youngest PhD studying the object. The object latched onto him and through some metamorphosis process remade our main character into this Greek God look and figure. So, what's happened in the three months that our main character has been in his “cocoon?” Well in short, the world has entered an apocalyptic era. The object appears to have emitted some sort of interference causing untold damage and humanity reacted predictably. Now starts the adventure beginning with discovering what our hero’s new body is capable of. The author appears to be relatively new with his first book having been published on Amazon back in 2020. He does have his own website under Leo Hall dot com where he's announced “Phase Titan 3” coming soon. If you happen to get to the end of this book and cannot wait for the next audio book to drop, then I would recommend “Fallen Power” which is a four book completed series available in both eBook and audio by this gentleman author. As for the narration team, I first encountered Christopher Harbour in the “Legendary Lidar RPG Anthology” and Mandy McCullough in “Lights Out” where she partnered with the aforementioned for the first time. I then also caught her performance in “Primal Imperative.” Both narrators have done a fantastic job as far as I'm concerned. It appears that Christopher’s next project was a book called “Shop in Another World” and Mandy has “Primal Imperative 2” which came out last month on the 20th. Lastly, I'll just say well done to everybody who had a hand in bringing this story to us, the Audible listeners.

This is a winner!

Book 2 here keeps this great story right on track.
I love the premise of this series.
An alien titan project has started up again after the apocalypse and our MC is the new titan, and with the help of some very sexy women, one of them an alien herself, he needs to fight the evil psychic slime things that are trying to take over the planet.
But first, they need to find the titan's equipment and which is being held in dangerous places.
If you like apocalypse HaremLit with aliens, you will definitely like this book and series.
