Publisher's summary

Dear Melrose,

The first time I met you, you were a stranger. The second time, you were my roommate. The third time, you made it clear you were about to become the biggest thorn my side had ever known.

You sing way too loud in the shower and use all the hot water.

You’re bossy as hell.

You make my life all kinds of complicated.

But no matter how hard I try, I can’t stop thinking about you.

Truthfully...I can’t stop wanting you.

I was going to tell you this. I was going to sit you down, swallow my pride, hang up my noncommittal ways and show you a side of me you nor anyone else has ever seen before...but then there was a game-changing confession; a bombshell so nuclear it stopped me in my tracks.

How I didn’t see this coming, I’ll never know.

Sutter

P.S. I miss you.

Love Sarah Puckett's narration!

I really enjoyed the story of Melrose and Sutter. The author, Winter Renshaw has been creating really fun and light stories. The heat and banter between these two characters was enticing and made the book un-put-downable! I dare say this is my favorite Ms. Renshaw book! I mean, Sutter is way more swoonable that he should be for a fictional character. He’s a bit standoffish, and I can get it with his background and his younger brother, but Melrose breaks down those walls. Sigh…

I couldn’t even handle their banter and humor, they had me cracking up and completely swooning throughout the entire book. I don’t want to go into much more. Melrose and Sutter are completely different; they mix about as good as oil and water. I just find these types of stories so much fun. However, there is a deeper side to the story that you will fall for. Ms. Renshaw writes a really captivating story that is just plain fun and sweet. The epilogue was amazing and some of my favorite parts of the book happened in those ending minutes!

Sarah Puckett's narration added more life to what was a mesmerizing story! Sarah's voice is pure perfection for Melrose. I could listen to her narrate female characters all day long! I really, REALLY, wish this was dually-narrated. While Puckett excels in female narration, her male voices aren't as believable. I'd much prefer if it was read to me when one narrator has to perform a dual POV story, when they "live" the story, if you will, with just one narrator... it just doesn't feel right to me. However, this was still an amazing audio and I'd definitely recommend it! These are just my narration preferences.

Perfect Tension

I fell in love with Sutter and Melrose and their story. Sarah Puckett did an outstanding job once again bringing these characters to life and providing enough of a difference in the tones that it was easy to distinguish which characters point of view was being told. There is something about this narrators voice that brings such a connection to the characters for me.

And the story... just a great story. I love an enemies to lovers and this one did not disappoint. The tension and chemistry between Sutter and Melrose was just a perfect and had the perfect slow burn. I enjoyed the story behind Melrose and her connection with Nick (although I think I would have loved a little more interaction). The family dynamics for each character were each so different but such an integral part of the story.

Truly a great listen and read

Love this type of slow love

This was a great sort of loath to love book. It's the second in the series. Of course there is the typical misunderstandings but they bond over his brother. Loved the narrator. I liked it. I'm curious about the other two books now, so I'm sure I'll be checking them out soon.

Uneasy Roommates

P. S. I Miss You is the second book of a three book series. .Melrose, who ahs been crushing on her best friend Nick since they were teens, goes to his house after he says he has something important to tell her. Melrose is expecting him to tell her he loves her. Instead, he's excited to tell her that his band is going on tour, and he will be gone for six months. Then asks if she would she be willing to sublet his apartment while he's gone? Nick has a roommate, named Sutter who Melrose would be sharing the apartment with. Melrose swallows her disappointment and agrees to help him out. Sutter and Melrose absolutely did not et along. He thought she was an uptight prissy rich girl/ wannabe actress. She thought he was a cocky arrogant jerk! They butted heads on just about everything! Until they didn't! Slowly they started to respect one another. Sutter has a teenage brother who is deaf and lives with their dad. The dad drinks, and Sutter must regularly bring Tucker home with him. Melrose and Sutter bond over Tucker and slowly become closer. This is a wonderful slow burning romance. There are misunderstandings, Sutter pulls away from Melrose thinking she's in love with Nick, and Melrose is offered a big part in a movie and must leave. how do or will the resolve their issues? Don't miss this wonderful series.

cute and fun read

this was a nice fun and quick read. Melrose is in love with her bestfriend and when he tells her he has huge news to tell her, she finally thinks hes going to confess his love for her and shes even waiting for this moment forever or so she thought until it wasnt the news she wanted. Turns our ehs leaving to become some huge star and needs someone to fill his empty room so his roommate isnt caught in a bind. Sutter is a cocky jerk and Melrose is a stubborn pain in the ass, who knew they would be the perfect fit for one another. she cant stand him at first and she drives him crazy but soon those feelings of resentment turn into something else. Then her bestfriend nick coms back and finally gives her what she wants except maybe it's not what she wants anymore. I enjoyed this one and listened to it in one sitting. I cant wait to check out the rest of the series! I guess you can say ita kind of an enemies to loves romance.

Loved the story

Absolutely loved the storyline throughout the book. The characters were well rounded and strong. I will definitely read this one again and look forward to more in the series. The only downfall was the narrator. She had a beautiful voice for the female characters but was not a very strong male, but was still an enjoyable audiobook.

Book was better...

Melrose and Sutter's story was fun. Winter Renshaw has become one of my fav's. The book was better. I had a hard time following Sarah Puckett's narration. I'm sure with a few improvements she could be great. I do not enjoy giving bad reviews.

Love Love And More Love

#AudiobookObsession

I have read Ms. Renshaw before but this is my first audio of hers. I absolutely love this story but the performance was not my favorite. I am usually not a single narrator person unless its an autobiography or history book but I figured I would give this narrator a chance. Since this was my first by said narrator, I will be more than willing to listen to her a second time on a different book since I don't like to make judgments just from one listen. The story itself was AMAZING and can't wait to listen to more by this author.
