Publisher's summary

It’s not easy to go from peach pies to Provence.

A dangerous past life. A new mysterious boss. An old chateau with some very suspicious characters.

Jennifer was happy working as a baker at the Ravenwood Inn, but when fate comes calling in the form of Gable Landon, she’s ready to jump at the new career he offers. Soon she’s globetrotting from Oregon to Bruges, then on to Provence to assess a rundown property her boss might want to buy. The charm of southern France and its food and landscape is almost intoxicating, and it doesn’t hurt that she’s made a new friend, a French bulldog named Orly. What Jennifer hadn’t expected, though, was stone cold murder.

Clean language, and only rated PG because hey, there’s a murderer running around in this book.

this review will probably be discarded

my review will not be made public , like the other four. they had 7 reviews supposedly but were only showing 3. I only paid less than 5$ for this, but it was over priced. I couldn't hold out for more than 30 minutes. She used characters from another series but gave them different names. The narration was bad .; a disappointment to say the least. 😤

Absolutely wonderful

Please tell me there will be more. And please bring the delightful English woman to Ravenwood Cove
to work at the Ravenwood Inn she would be a wonderful addition to the city and to the inn. This is my second favorite series of all the ones I have. My other favorite is Ravenwood Cove. Btw I have 400 + audio books.

Terrific reading of story

Story moved along quickly with interesting characters. I loved the narration with bits of French language, smooth and well done.

excellent short story

This was an excellent short mystery story. I am normally very good about figuring out the ending but this one was a challenge! The performance was well read. I loved all the accents and the reading was very clear.

A quick, quirky mystery

Perils in Provence was a quick listen with a mystery. The story involved many layers that left a reader mildly confused about all the untold details, but the mystery itself was interesting. I wish the story had continued, rather than ending so quickly. The narration was calming to listen to.

Loved this!

Loved this story! An expertly woven tale, both charming and intriguing. I enjoyed every moment read in Provence with these characters and a little bit of history and old world ambience. Will look forward to more fun with Jennifer and Orly!

Not very interesting

Plot was not very interesting. The narrator just sounded like she was reading, not much voice inflection.
