Serious but necessary.
Everyone who is interested in Christianity should read (or hear) this book. There are some uncomfortable truths in it for those who are too casual with faith.

Very helpful. Every assurance is reinforced with scripture.

Essential for understanding the Gospel
Dr. MacArthur does a beautiful job of laying out the essentials of the wonderful Gospel of our Lord. If these truths are not being taught, yes even stressed in the preaching you hear each Lord’s Day, look for another Church. Your spiritual health depends on it!
