Publisher's summary

The story of Noah is one of the most captivating in all the Bible. Yet most people remember it mainly as a children's story found in picture books and heard in Sunday school classes. But this tragedy really took place - and widely overlooked is Jesus' stunning prophecy that the final days of planet Earth would be just as it was in the days of Noah. His point? That there would be striking parallels between Noah's day and the end times - with warnings of God's imminent judgment upon the world. Is Jesus' prophecy now being fulfilled? And if yes, how then should we respond? As It Was in the Days of Noah explores the similarities between the two periods, such as the rapid rise in evil and increasingly flagrant disregard for God. A powerful resource that...

  • Examines the signs that we're nearing the end-time
  • Affirms the urgency of reaching the lost with God's compassion and truth
  • Equips you to live wisely and "redeem the time" so it counts for eternity

Great stuff.

Loved it. The time is near. Be ready. Jesus loves you. Our World is falling appart. Men and Women of God rise up, be light in fallen world. This book encouraged me to get closer to God to give Him everything. Shalom

How patient God is with us.

I liked how the reader expressed the importance of being ready! But also keeping to the daily task of serving God. Keeping our eyes on Jesus Christ. it could be today, or next year. But, It will Be!!!

A compelling but uncomfortable listen

If you like your theology sugar coated you will hate this book. Linley calls a spade a spade. Don’t allow the chapters on sexuality and homosexuality to serve as a road block. You don’t have to agree. Persevere even if fire and brimstone turns you off. Everything comes together in the final chapter. A wake up call, only 8 people survived the flood. Makes one realize we all fall short of God’s standards. Best listened to as a chapter a day, but there is hope for those who accept the gift of salvation.

Eye opening!!!

The parallels drawn between, how things were, before Noah's flood, and the happenings in today's world, are striking, and help me to realize, that time is short in today's world!!!
