Ruim e mal narrado
História cheia de clichês. Considerando o tema abordado (experiências pessoais no meio de uma guerra global), faltou emoção e um clímax convincente. O livro é mal amarrado e às vezes forçado. A narração é fraca. A narradora descreve uma guerra atômica como se fosse um conto de fadas. Fora que a palavra “presidenta” (repetida milhares de vezes) não existe. “Presidente” já é uma palavra neutra, mas a lacração de certa forma combina com a escrita do autor. Em resumo, perda de (muito) tempo.

Visão simplista
Gosto muito dos livros do Ken Follett e sou um fã deste tipo de histórias. Infelizmente fiquei bem decepcionado com a narrativa. achei os personagens mal desenvolvidos e tudo muito superficial e simplista. A narradora é muito boa mas as vezes sinto que não era a pessoa certa para dar o clima de tensão que era esperado de uma história dessa.
