This unique and fundamentally liberating book shows us that examining our attitudes toward money - earning it, spending it, and giving it away - can offer surprising insight into our lives, our values, and the essence of prosperity.
Lynne Twist, a global activist and fundraiser, has raised more than $150 million for charitable causes. Through personal stories and practical advice, she demonstrates how we can replace feelings of scarcity, guilt, and burden with experiences of sufficiency, freedom, and purpose. In this Nautilus Award-winning book, Twist shares from her own life, a journey illuminated by remarkable encounters with the richest and poorest, from the famous (Mother Teresa and the Dalai Lama) to the anonymous but unforgettable heroes of everyday life.

"An inspired, utterly fascinating book…. A book for everyone who would like to make the world a better place." (Jane Goodall)
Good book with some really great points. Sometimes it's gets a little too flowery for my taste, but it never really lost my attention.
Definitely worth listening to!
The message of this book was good but it got a little redundant and preachy towards the end and the narrator made it even worse...she sounds like the strict goody goody teacher you always dreaded in school. I would prob not recommend this audible to my friends.
Very thought provoking. It reinforces my life purpose. Thank you for sharing your experiences. It provides hope that individually we can all change the world with our own actions
Loved the fresh perspective. She challenges many standing beliefs about money. Reading this will make you uncomfortable!
I was recommended this book to learn about my relationship with money and I did learn about it, but I also learned about decision making, collaboration, resourcefulness, and the transformation human society go through in these times.
In this book, the use of language is accurate, the storytelling is interesting and ignited my imagination, and the insights of a lifetime are offered in way that's fun to read and easy to comprehend.
Thank you Lynn for this beautiful book, Cynthia for the clear and pleasant narration, and Audible for making it available in this comfortable format for a traveller like me.
This author had a unique perspective on life and money due to her life experiences which have taken her around this world. This book changed my life, how I viewed the world, and challenged my own beliefs about money.
I loved the author's story about meeting Mother Theresa and meeting the women executives at Microsoft. It made me think about my own career in the corporate world and how that affects my children.
