Real life 40-somethings.
I’ve been searching high and low for novels featuring women in their 40’s rather than 20’s, with more realistic ups and downs that I can relate to. Fern Britton has nailed it! This is the second book of hers I’ve read (third if you count her autobiography) and I’ve enjoyed them all. She’s a great narrator too. I enjoyed this storyline more than the first one, although that had a better setting. I actually couldn’t wait to get to the gym to play the next chapter! Lol. Thoroughly enjoyable, definitely recommend.
