Couldn't be better

I wanted to say something about this specific audio book, so I am actually making the effort to write a review. It may possibly have had a few errors, but they did not take away anything from the remarkable info that this particular book contains. You can learn a ton. I definitely know that I did.

Great stuff

Such an interesting theme. I believe I will let my siblings partner listen to it. They have to understand that there are actually books like this in the market.

Excellent

This is an excellent book that captures the imagination about the elves the trolls, and the other creatures in Celtic myths. I didn't know a lot of them and I learned a lot.

it's alright

The lady reading the story sounds like a computer at times and doesn't say any of the names the right way but it's ok. it's a good start before getting into something with much more detail.

Another extraordinary myth collection

This collection of myths hit all the right places of my brain in historical interest and awe. Thanks to this, I am now updated with further knowledge about an often-long-forgotten area in the world with its own folklore, creatures, and stories: The Celts.

Of course

Don't forget about the Celts. Many people do. I was wondering if I could find some elements from the movie "Brave" in there, but didn't. But despite of that, I really enjoyed the tales.

Some ancient things in there

Ancient stuff, those celtic folklore tales. I love the analogies and the background information in here.

An absolute waste of money or credits.

Crap. Pure, unmitigated crap.

The reader sounds like one of those ridiculous AI narrators on YouTube. The content itself is jarring and unbearable, with words some words used in the wrong context or verbs in the wrong tense.

I'm angry I burned a credit in this dreck.

Butchery of the English language!

The author doesn't have an adequate grasp of English. The grammar is terrible, words are misused (like the completely wrong word is used) and the narrator - though she stuttered and struggled to make sense of the written word - just reads it as written. I'm not a stickier for this stuff so I made it to the 23rd chapter - just because the gist of the story was there. At that point 3 really bad ones in a row, including the statement that a pole struck with a sword "burglarized splinters" (WTH!?), sent me into a fit I wasn't even aware I COULD have. Couldn't bring myself to finish it after that. DON'T DO IT if you are bothered, even a little, by an absolute slaughter of the English language.

Sounds like a book report written by the dumbest kid in class

Perfectly Anglo reading of a culture rich in history, tradition and art. Pronunciation of names and places is criminal. Written like a history text book without the color or care for its people. I was hoping to learn something but the subjects aren’t explored. They should really have another system so you can give it a number of thumbs down.
