The sequel to Bad Games, the number-one Kindle best seller.
In Bad Games, the Lamberts weren't safe at the family cabin. Now they aren't safe anywhere. Playtime is not over.
In Autumn 2008 the Lambert family headed to Western Pennsylvania for a weekend getaway to the family cabin. They visited hell instead.
The Fannelli brothers. Two psychopaths who believed themselves exceptional, put on this Earth for the soul purpose of tormenting others for their own amusement. To make people play their twisted games.
Except the Lamberts managed the impossible. They played the game and survived. Showed the Fannelli brothers that they'd messed with the wrong family.
However, the game is far from over. There are some new players in town. Players who appear to have close ties to the Fannelli brothers. Players who are taking things very personally - and promising results that are very deadly.
If you thought you'd glimpsed evil before, prepare to plummet headfirst into the abyss as author Jeff Menapace shows you a new level of fear and heart-stopping suspense.
Let the vengeful games begin.

This book picks up from the the last book, Bad Games. It keeps you intrigued and is totally intense all the way through. It was so good that it was one that I could not put down and just wanted to keep on listening to until the end. The Narrator is great and makes the book/story so much better to listen too. Must read if you read Bad Games by Jeff Menapace. Great set!!!
It was the perfect balance between inner thoughts, dialogue and description.
Flawless. He's improved so much since the last book. Not sure how he could get better.
Excellent sequel to "Bad Games"
You must read "Bad Games" first to fully undwrstand what 'the game (s)' are/is. The action in this book takes place in several locations and involves many 'targets'.
Warning : This book has descriptions of previous 'game' play that are much worse than Book 1 of this series, in my opinion.
In my top 20 for sure , I listen to a variety of audiobooks ,I'm not loyal to one certain genre.
all of it ,he is great with the characters
I did have some eye rolls with Domino's character , it was still good but tried a little to hard to make him sound like a super hero
The scary part of the first book was that I could see this happening in real life.
Sadly, not so with book 2. Suddenly everyone is a special agent. WTF? The pace is extremely slow with lots of filler leading to an rushed and ludicrous ending.
One of the best books I have read/heard...
Patrick..... The way Jeff Menapace wrote this character is amazing, love the sarcasim, the realism, how strong Patrick is.. so down to earth but so strong at the same time, I LOVE the way this character is.
