I like reading and watching non-fiction about global warming, sustainability, etc. This piqued my interest in that regard. I was a little unsure about the ultra-political fiction, but it kept me wanting to read more. It is 85% about the processes and negotiations, all within the American political system, that I as a Canadian, have no knowledge of or interest in. However, I feel like it gave me a little insight to policy changes/planning at the highest level, but kept it just dramatic enough that it did not bore me. I agree with someone else's comment about the fact that they kept out the unnecessary relationship drama and kept the focus solely on climate change, and everything involved on a world scale that is necessary to fix the problem.
