With her besties, Bailey and Toni, in tow, Rachel leaves work and rainy LA behind and sets off for a much-needed vacation in Aruba. Greeted by glittering sand and a balmy breeze, the three friends can't imagine anywhere more perfect.
But just minutes after hitting the beach, they're approached by a panicked young woman. A gofer on the biggest reality hit since Survivor, she's lost the show's child star and must find her, now, before anyone else realizes she's gone. Rachel, Bailey, and Toni put their dreams of paradise on hold and embark on a whirlwind search for the girl - a search that ends with a twist so disturbing no one, not even a fortune-teller, could have seen it coming....

I love espionage, legal, and detective thrillers but listen to most genres. Very frequent reviews. No plot spoilers! Please excuse my typos!
This novella is my first book by Marcia Clark. I was not expecting much so I am surprised by this cute little detective story. Narration is excellent.
It has to be in my top five of audiobooks that I have listened to.
Well obviously it was Rachael Knight. Her character is tough but also very mysterious as well.
She has a great voice and she can do multiple voice overs of various characters amazingly.
Just the whole book caught my attention.
I am a loyal readers and listeners. My genre is Mystery novels, and true crime.
You need to see Marcia on the Stephanie Miller Show. Love all of Marcia books. More books More, books please. Also love January's voice.
"Enjoyable short story."
This is the second short story I have listened to by Marcia Clark and have really enjoyed both. Nothing too demanding and a pretty straightforward plot but if you fancy an easy crime listen with likeable characters this fits the bill. I love January LaVoy's narration too.
