Kay Hooper weaves an irresistible web of mystery and suspense in her latest thriller Touching Evil. Police sketch artist Maggie Barnes, whose exceptional talent has made her indespensible, faces the challenge of a lifetime when a deranged psychopath grips the city in a horiffic tirade that leaves many women wounded. Maggie’s abilities are put to the test as she struggles to put a face to the acts and uncover this predator before even she becomes his victim.

I would recommend it as the book is a very engaging psychological thriller.
The plot was very well written and presented and definitely kept my interest from the first page.
No, I haven't listened to another performance.
The dedicated approach and strength of the heroine to what she perceived to be her abilities to help others.
Excellent story enhanced by an amazing performance. I really appreciated how different this book is from so many other psychological thrillers. Loved the supernatural twist. Very believable as written.
Love fantasy books, usually with a strong female character. I also enjoyed just about anything from J.D Robb I am a fan of mysteries as well. I also enjoy funny and quirky novels anything from Molly Harper is a winner in my book. Since listening to audio books is important to me while I travel I also follow certain narrators as well.
Listened to this in one day I couldn't put it down. I am listening to a lighter book next time as this was so intense. Will listen to book 5 on c e I can get this one to settle.
It makes house go a lot easier, I love reading but if I sit down to read that is all I would get done and once you pick up one of Kay Hoopers books they are hard to put down after starting.
This book is towards the top of the list of books I would read
Maggie was my favorite. She had that mysterious, creepy and gentle sprit that pulled me in.
When the pregnant women was taken and killed. Very graphic scene.
This book was pretty good. I liked the unpredictability that some of the book offered but the end was predicable as most books are. The book intrigued me enough to want to read more books in this series. I would recommend this book for those that like creepy, unexplained, supernatural mixed with police detective. I really liked this book
Retired former magazine editor who is working harder than ever as Mr. Dad to his 14-year-old daughter.
Too many minor characters, too many psychics, a preposterous plot and a little gratuitous romance make this book totally forgettable. Yet, I didn't hate it and was never tempted to quit listening. I wanted to learn who Annie was. I wanted to learn if Hollis was going to be able to regain her sight. I wanted to learn if John would be able to avenge the death of his sister. About the only thing I didn't learn was if Luke was able to get elected to the governor's mansion. Maybe in the next installment, which I will not be listening to. Truly not a bad story if you're into psychics and such.
Loved this was a great listen
The hunt for the killer from start to finish was memorable
Alyssa brought all the characters to life
Both laughed and cried during the listen, really enough this book.
