Many a night I would sit in the driveway listening to the remaining chapter before I went into the house. Great story and enjoyed how you tied all the pieces together.
Loved the characters and the storyline. Excellent! The plot keeps you wondering and comes together well at the end.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I found Sidney Archer to be intelligent, strong, & able to persevere with whatever she was thrown. I'm glad she wasn't a weeping willow who fell apart when the wind blew. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone. On to the next one.
The reader is a serious distraction. His style reminds one of Greg Gutfeld's sardonic reading of his monolog on Red Eye or his commentary on The Five. The Story itself is interesting, quite a few twists and turns.
Yes, too many characters... Too many to keep track of while listening.. I listen and do other things, so had to keep rewinding and still was confused.
I love David's books, I didnt' feel this one was as sit on the edge of your seat... OH no.. I have to turn it off kind of book... I finished it because I was hoping for some excitement. I realized it was one of his older books..
It was ok, not horrible but not great.. a little flat.
try and find another Baldacci book that I like to listen to..
I don't usually give negative comments, but this one was a bit flat for me.. may not be for others.
Not my favorite but really good
How the second part of the book became really interesting and fast pace
If there was another narrator for this book, I might have been able to finish it. But the narrator was so bad, that I couldn't even finish chapter 2.
I love David Baldacci, but I will definitely pay attention to the listener reviews before I purchase again.
It would have been better if the narrator wasn't reading it like it was his first time seeing the book. It was very monitone, and the same tempo no matter what was happening. The narrator needed to put some feeling into it.
I don't know. Like I said before, I couldn't even finish chapter 2.
I greatly enjoy audio books and have been more than pleased with Audible, but if this would have been the first book I have ever purchased, it would have also been my last. Thankfully, I know that Audible has way better to offer.
Please go back to using Scott Brick. Many times I search for books that he narrates because I Know he reads only the best books. When I am troubled selecting a book I select based on the narrator. This guy was adequate but no one is better than Scott Brick
no but I allways buy uncensored books.
I wait for your books to come out but sorry I was disappointed.
