What made the experience of listening to Tom Clancy Presents: Act of Valor the most enjoyable?

From start to finish - this was an emotional ride. I found myself cheering and crying along with the story. There were periods when I had to pull over - to recover. It touches you heart and mind. To think that we as Americans are protected by such a class of warriors.

Those who hate us - you are on notice! We are peaceful people, until we are pushed to defend what is ours.

to sum this up - FANTASTIC !!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless the USA. God Bless our Troops!!!

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

The story was gripping and the reader was able to bring forth the necessary emotions - Fantastic.

What does Steven Weber bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

He brings a fourth dimension - as in sight - the combination of the story and the narration create s a place - that allowed me to experience the depth and width of the emotions. I was with the Seals when they rode the truck, I was with them when the leader died, highs and lows - triumphs and losses all came together.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

All emotions were forthcoming and not easy to control. In the plane I had to literally restrain my emotions - in my car I could express my emotions fully. Had I done that in the plane from LAX to DC - I am sure I would have been arrested. However, I could not stop the tears.

I love this book.

A poinient look into our Navy SEALS

A story beautifully crafted around the SEAL families. Keep the tissues handy. I'll listen to this book again in the future.

An excellent book!

I rarely give five stars but this book deserves it. Without giving any spoilers, I will say that after reading this book, I want to be a better human. I know it sounds trite. Just read it and you'll see why. I am grateful for those who serve this country in a new and profound way. Happy Reading.

Once started I had to finish this book. Very emotional at the end. One of the best books I have read or listened to in awhile.

This is the first book I have listened to be Steven Weber. He is a good job narrator. I enjoyed listening.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

Definitely!

I am a retired Master chief of the US Navy. I have been with Navy SEALs in an educational setting and I am so proud to be part of the United States of America. I know that the men who risk their lives for all of us sometimes have to pay the greatest price —your life. This book highlights the many missions that the seals are involved with and we will never know how much they do for our freedom. God bless you all.
